Tikkun 21 – 140

Malchut is like the moon. It doesn’t have light of its own and has two sides, the side that receives and reflects the light and the dark side.

When we pray, our meditation should be with the consciousness to draw the light and to share it with the whole world.
Israelites are also the aspect of the moon. They are scattered all over the world and for their tikkun process they should be like a solar energy cell. Draw the light and channel it to their community and the rest of the world.

Jewish people are just a tag name to people that were born to Jewish parents. Israelites are all the people with souls that are connected to the Torah. You may find non Israelite souls among Jewish people and many times fold Israelite souls among the nations of the world.

If you are not Jewish and attracted to this knowledge then you definitely have an Israelite soul. Now that you aware of it you have the responsibilities that the Torah put on us. You cannot be saved by putting money in the basket. Your actions count.

Our meditation to draw the light should be from where the light comes to the world. This source is above the Temple Mount in Jerusalem that is in the Holy land. This land was described as ארץ זבת חלב ודבש, the land that “drips Milk and Honey”. The last letters of the last three words make the word שבת.

What’s the meaning of Shabbat?

Shabbat is the seventh day when we draw the light for the week. Shabbat is Malchut and the queen שבת מלכתא that reveal the light and provide beneficent to all. The Holy Land is the aspect of Shabbat and the source of light for the whole world.

Going against the Holy Land and what it represents is like attacking the power source of the world. The greater the hurt and pain inflicted on the Holy Land and those that channel the light to the world, the more it negatively affects the world and it brings darkness, limitation and destruction everywhere.

The world’s interest is to support Israel to benefit from the light that comes from there. Israel can never and will never be destroyed. There are and will be struggles to hold the land but it will never ‘change ownership’.

Every empire that tried to control the land lost its powers and soon after their temporary hold of the Land they turn to be just pages in the history books.

Why Milk and Honey?

A farmer will not kill the cow that provides milk and sustenance for his family. He also won’t destroy the bee hive after harvesting the honey. The whole world wants the spiritual ‘Milk and Honey’ that comes from this land. On the same consciousness level, the whole world knows how important Jerusalem and the Holy Land are.

The Milk and Honey are products that have the energy of sharing and continuation. It comes from living creatures that are able to keep producing after they share their energy.

Same with Israelites, their souls are like candles that can share light without diminishing their own. Their connection to the source is unbreakable.

The state of Israel always contributed to the world in the field of science and technologies in all aspects of life. It is the Milk and Honey products that provide advancements and continuation of energy in the world. The rest of the world is good in providing all the material stuff. The Israelites’ mind is closer to the light and can see better.

Going against Israel is like going against the spiritual system. No one in the history of the world could destroy Israel and no one will ever will.

The planet Saturn, שבתאי is called in the Zohar with its rearranged letters, אי שבת, meaning no Shabbat. In Astrology, its energy represents limitation, restriction, work and the Tikkun process. It is the opposite of the rest of Shabbat and easy connection to the light.

After the Final Redemption we will experience a continuous state of Shabbat. The light will be available without earning it. It is described by the sages as days of continuous Shabbat.

Daily Zohar #390 – Why do babies smell so divine?

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -390.

Tikkun 21 – 131

When the light is drawn from the right column, Chessed and returned with the left column, Gevurah, it creates unification and holiness. The process of ‘run and return’ is the driving force of the universe and that is why everything is in movement. Making all our actions with continuation creates affinity with the light of the Creator that sustains that movement (the force behind the 137 constant, Electron, Neutron, Proton). We are in the world of Wheels, גלגלים, meaning waves and circles. Wholiness is Holiness. I know that this is not an English word but that explains the concept.

A bride is called כלה, and the name represents ה, for Malchut and כל for Yessod. When the bride comes to connect with the groom she goes into a process that brings holiness as it unifies the right and the left.

The bride circles the groom 7 times, followed by seven blessings to ‘knot’ the 7 sefirot together as one and to connect them to the Tree of Life.

At the night of the wedding, the groom and the bride come together to manifest the earlier process and complete the circle. The groom’s meditation is to draw the light from Zeir Anpin and his soul level of Ruach into the bride. Her meditation is be like an empty vessel, ready to receive and channel the light that was drawn down earlier by the groom. This creates continuation in the world and brings the life and light force to their lives.

This same meditation should be made on every connection even if it is not for the purpose of having children. The light that comes down is like a child and it can manifest in different areas in the life of the couple.

Immediately after God built the woman (וַיִּבֶן יְהוָה) by separating her from Adam’s body, the Torah explains

“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh”

Man and woman should seek the state as God created them, one body. That will bring back the original Wholiness. (It’s complicated but soul mates or not, the consciousness should be there.)

A baby grows inside a circular shaped womb and his/her blood is circulated with the mother’s. The divine life force is still in his body when he is born. Before it becomes contaminated by earthly matters, his body and flesh smell divine, especially the head.

Electronic scanning vs. book scanning

Friday, July 30th, 2010

Comments and a question from a friend of the Daily Zohar. It is posted here with her permission and my answer is below.
I invite to share your experience and ask any questions that you may have or just came to your mind.

Hello:

My name is Phyllis and I love your DailyZohar messages; it makes it easy for me to scan everyday with my busy schedule.
However, I am curious and wanted to put this question out there for your observation and possible later comment.

When I first received my personal Zohar book set I would try and scan them daily. After the first week one of my co-workers asked me, “What are you doing, your face is glowing?” Now, I almost never scan from the books, only scanning from your Daily Zohar messages when I perform my morning prayers.

I know there are countless reasons why my face should glow or not glow and it cannot be proven to be the Zohar scanning.
It just seems that after a week for someone to come and say that to me was usual and my first thought was the Zohar.

I am wondering if there is a difference between electronic scanning vs. book scanning. If it is so important for the (is it Rabbis who draw them for mezuzah or torah, I’m not of the Jewish faith) forming of the letters to be perfect for their power to be correct, to be revealed, then is the fact that electronic writing is just dots, pixels, a problem? The actual lines are not connecting lines? Do you know what I mean?

Do you scan both print and electronic? Maybe some of us should test to see if we can discern the difference. No matter what, the Daily Zohar is wonderful and the commentary well worth reading. I admit I do not understand all of it, but in time I hope too.

I did not post this publicly because I did not want to influence peoples’ use of your daily message.

Sincerely,
Phyllis

Book or eBook?

Everything that we touch is affected by our energy, for positive or negative. This is the reason why we get attached to things that remind us positive memories and experiences. It’s the energy of the moment that we connect to. Whatever we do and wherever we go we leave a signature of our energy.

Whatever we see with our eyes absorbed internally and affect us spiritually and physically. It can lifts our spirit and energy or makes us terribly sick.
When we scan or read the sacred text we activate its inner energy and bring it into our lives. As a material channel, it retains the energy of our consciousness when we use it.

There are two aspects, one is the effect on us and the other is on the object or place.
The electronic device holds the energy of all of its experiences. The book is a dedicated channel, focused on the Zohar and its own spiritual energy. The more we use it for scanning, reading and studying it accumulates more of the same energy. Always respect the book and avoid leaving it on the floor.
When a sacred book is far from reach, it can’t help us much but if we have a digital replacement that can ‘feed’ us the energy, then it is better.

The Daily Zohar was created initially on the idea of giving people access to the Zohar on the daily basis. Most people buy the Zohar and rarely open it for reading or scanning. I didn’t even think about writing commentaries because the important connection is ‘sucking’ the sacred text into our mind and sub consciousness. The logical mind needs its share so I added the translation and commentaries to ‘magnify’ the Zohar experience. The Doctor can prescribe a pill but it will works ‘better’ when it comes with explanation.

Daily Zohar #342 – Look into your heart

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -342.

Tikkun 21 – 83

“My eyes are ever toward YHVH; for He will bring forth my feet from falling into the negativity.”

The common saying “look into your heart” is not logical on a physical level because no one can actually look into their heart.

It is only through the heart we can connect to the truth. Truth is the energy that powers up existence.

Truth is the central column and the way to connect to the upper levels.

The Hebrew word for truth is אמת. It starts with the first letter of the Alef-Bet, ends with the last letter and in the center it has the middle letter. אמת holds the Tree of Life in its place.

With every meditation and action we should look into our heart and make sure that it is done with truth and pure consciousness. That is the way to connect and bring the light into our lives.

2 chronicles 7:16
“וְעַתָּה, בָּחַרְתִּי וְהִקְדַּשְׁתִּי אֶת-הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה, לִהְיוֹת-שְׁמִי שָׁם, עַד-עוֹלָם; וְהָיוּ עֵינַי וְלִבִּי שָׁם, כָּל-הַיָּמִים”
“For now I have chosen and hallowed this house, that My name may be there for ever; and my eyes and My heart shall be there throughout all the days.”

The Holy Temple represents this truth and the Holy One Bless be He also states that he puts his eyes and heart in it. Any other way which is not truth connects us to the impure system and draws negativity.

A lie detector checks changes in the heart pulses. When a person lies it immediately affects his heart. It goes out of sync with the energy of life inside.

It is hard for a spiritually connected person to lie. He knows that lying is a form of spiritual death as it can disconnect him from the Tree of Life.

So look into your heart and act with truth.

Daily Zohar #336 – We can remove the dark curtains

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -336.

Tikkun 21- 77

“for the candle is precept and the Torah is Light”

H ה – The candle is the action, vessel, Malchut
V ו – The Torah is the Light, Zeir Anpin.
H ה – Love – The top of the first word of the Torah, בראשית, which is the secret of the first sequence of the Ana B’Koach אבגיתץ.
Y י – Awe – The seed and the essence of the Light that sustain existence.

The YH are the concealed levels of Keter, Chokmah and Binah and the VH are the revealed levels, Zeir Anpin (Torah) and Malchut (actions and percepts).

The other side, Sama-el and the Snake, put themselves in the middle, between the concealed and the revealed, to grab the energy we draw from the supernal with our actions. They create “dark skies” that block the light from reaching us.

With our connections to the light by actions and study, we seek to unify the upper YH with the lower VH and create continuous flow of light to remove the ‘dark skies’ forever.

That is why we should start every meditation and action with the consciousness of connecting YH and VH.

This is the Hebrew meditation
“לְשֵׁם יִחוּד קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא וּשְׁכִינְתֵּהּ, בִּדְחִילוּ וּרְחִימוּ, וּרְחִימוּ וּדְחִילוּ,
לְיַחֲדָא שֵׁם יוֹ”ד קֵ”י בְּוָא”ו קֵ”י בְּיִחוּדָא שְׁלִים בְּשֵׁם כָּל יִשְֹרָאֵל”

Daily Zohar #315 – Win the war. Learn to use “the spear”

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -315.

Tikkun 21 – 56

There are three letters Yod that come from the essence of the supernal light to Chokmah Binah and Da’at.

Numbers 24:21 “וְשִׂים בַּסֶּלַע, קִנֶּךָ” “Put your nest in the rock…”

The Zohar reveals that this is reference to the covenant after the Flood. The rock represents the aspect of the energy of the letters in Malchut.

With the power of the Shema Yisrael prayer, we connect Chokmah, Binah and Daat with the three Yods to the three columns, represented by three Vavs ווו = 18 in balance. The three Yods are the seed of the three columns and each represent complete 10 Sefirot.

With the 248 Hebrew words of the Shema and 6 for the First line, we have 254 which is רמח + ו = רומח, “spear”. This is the tool to remove negativity from the connection and create balance.

Daily Zohar #308 – Chanting through the 50 gates

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -308.

Tikkun 21 – 49

The Cantillation marks are in the aspect of the surfing water of the sea. They express the connection of the supernal light to the Torah, which is the sea, ים. The numerical value is 50 and that is for the 50 gates in the Torah that lead us to Binah.
The Torah mentions the exodus 50 times יציאת מצרים, that literally means going out of the straits of the sea מצר ים.

Each time the Torah mention this term we should meditate to pass through another gate to break limitation and ascend to Binah.

Daily Zohar #306 – Can you see the sea?

Wednesday, May 12th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -306.

Tikkun 21 – 47

The 24 books of the Bible channel the supernal water to Malchut with our work and prayers to draw and reveal it.
The 50 letters of the Shema, which are 25 letters in the morning and 25 in the evening refer to the ‘sea’ ים, of the light.
A tzadik is considered as the vessel כד that lowers דך himself to channel the light.

The whole Shema prayer has 245 words and we repeat the last 3 words to make 248 and to have a complete ‘body’. That connect to all the positive precepts in the Torah.

The Shema is built from 4 parts for the tetragramaton, YHVH. Rabbi Brandwein in his commentary explains that the first 12 words that are Shema Israel and Baruch Shem are the first part. The second part of V’ahavta, has 42 words, the third of V’haya, has 122 words and the last part of the Tzizit has 69 words.

There are 1000 letters in the 248 words of the Shema parayer. This fine structure tells us about its importance. The first 3 parts also appear in the hand and head Tefilin. It is also inside the Mezuzah that we put on our doors to block negativity from entering our homes.

Daily Zohar #305 – Get smart. 24 x 2 = Brain

Tuesday, May 11th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -305.

Tikkun 21 – 46

This is the secret of Isaiah 54:12 “ וְשַׂמְתִּי כַּדְכֹד שִׁמְשֹׁתַיִךְ”
“and I will put כַּדְ כֹד your luminaries”

כד is 24 and it means pitcher, a vessel. The deeper meaning of this verse from Isaiah prophecy is that when the time comes, the Light, YHVH will fill up the vessel in equality.
“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of the seven days”

In previous daily Zohar we explained the first part of the Shema prayer with the 25 letters, those we recite morning and evening to bring the light. The next 24 letters are
“בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד”.
“Blessed be the name of his glory forever and ever”

The word כד is the code for the vessel in Malchut and the presence of the Shechina that supports us in holding the light in balance.
We have 24 letters in the morning and 24 in the evening. These words wrap the Light of the Shema in complete and balanced circuit to reveal the light in Malchut.

On the night of Shavuot, we read from all 24 books of the Bible and in each book there is a pair of letters that are called “decoration of the bride”. The Bride is the Shechina and the 24 pairs are the connection to the Bible that reveal the light in Malchut.
24×2 = 48 and it is the value for מח, which means brain. It is the tool and conduit to receive and channel the light from the supernal levels.

That special connection to the 48 letters gives us the highest level of light from the Tree of Life and guarantees protection from harm until Rosh Hashanah.

Daily Zohar #304 – And there was evening and there was morning, one day

Monday, May 10th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -304.

Tikkun 21 – 45

When Zeir Anpin and Malchut connect, they elevate the lower waters up through the central column to the supernal mother, which is Binah.
There are 25 levels on the right column and 25 levels on the left column. Those are the 50 gates of Binah.
Binah has 10 Sefirot and each has its own 10 inner Sefirot and together they make 100 levels. When Malchut reaches Binah, they split to 50 and 50 and get pushed up to the supernal Father and Mother and to Israel Saba and Tevunah that are above Binah.

When we recite the

Shema Israel
in the morning and in the evening with twice the 25 letters of the unification line, we have 50 to help us climb through the gates all the way to Binah.
The Morning connection is the aspect of the right column, the afternoon is the left and we don’t recite the Shema. The evening is for the central column and the Shema prayer balances the right and the left. This is the secret of
“And there was evening and there was morning, one day”
When we say the last word אֶחָד, we should ‘stretch’ its sound and meditate to bring the two columns as one.
