Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -390.

Tikkun 21 – 131

When the light is drawn from the right column, Chessed and returned with the left column, Gevurah, it creates unification and holiness. The process of ‘run and return’ is the driving force of the universe and that is why everything is in movement. Making all our actions with continuation creates affinity with the light of the Creator that sustains that movement (the force behind the 137 constant, Electron, Neutron, Proton). We are in the world of Wheels, גלגלים, meaning waves and circles. Wholiness is Holiness. I know that this is not an English word but that explains the concept.

A bride is called כלה, and the name represents ה, for Malchut and כל for Yessod. When the bride comes to connect with the groom she goes into a process that brings holiness as it unifies the right and the left.

The bride circles the groom 7 times, followed by seven blessings to ‘knot’ the 7 sefirot together as one and to connect them to the Tree of Life.

At the night of the wedding, the groom and the bride come together to manifest the earlier process and complete the circle. The groom’s meditation is to draw the light from Zeir Anpin and his soul level of Ruach into the bride. Her meditation is be like an empty vessel, ready to receive and channel the light that was drawn down earlier by the groom. This creates continuation in the world and brings the life and light force to their lives.

This same meditation should be made on every connection even if it is not for the purpose of having children. The light that comes down is like a child and it can manifest in different areas in the life of the couple.

Immediately after God built the woman (וַיִּבֶן יְהוָה) by separating her from Adam’s body, the Torah explains

“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh”

Man and woman should seek the state as God created them, one body. That will bring back the original Wholiness. (It’s complicated but soul mates or not, the consciousness should be there.)

A baby grows inside a circular shaped womb and his/her blood is circulated with the mother’s. The divine life force is still in his body when he is born. Before it becomes contaminated by earthly matters, his body and flesh smell divine, especially the head.

Daily Zohar #378 – The life of water

Sunday, August 8th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -378.

Tikkun 21 – 119

“And of every living thing (חי) of all flesh, two of every sort shall you bring into the ark, to keep them alive (חי) with you; they shall be male and female.”

The Zohar explains to us that the count of the animal that came into the Ark is as two and two, seven and seven. These numbers add up to 18 (2+2+7+7), which are the cycle of 9 sefirot of direct light and 9 sefirot of returning light and this represents life as in חי.

“And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.”

Noah’s Ark rested on the mountain of Ararat on the 17th day of the seventh month. This is the time after we go through the judgment process of Rosh Hashanah, on the first of the month, then after receiving the verdict on the 10th day, Yom Kippur.
The work of High Priest, the Kohen Gadol, on Yom Kippur drew down the Light of Chassadim to the world. In our time his work is replaced by our global connection on the same day.

On the 14th day, which is the Holiday of Sukkoth that we celebrate for seven days, we start collecting the light of chassadim. On this Holiday we do the action of “Nisuch Hamayim”, which is a connection to the light of chassadim through water. When this was done in the Holy Temple it created a great joy because it manifested the work of the Kohen on Yom Kippur.

The action of nisuch hamayim is done by transferring water from one vessel to another to manifest this special light in our lives. It connects the supernal waters, which is the energy source to the lower water, which is the physical water.

Daily Zohar #377 – Will you float?

Saturday, August 7th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -377.

Tikkun 21 – 118
(Continue from previous article)

When the drop reaches Malchut and if it does not go into a vessel it creates a separation between the light and the vessel and the waters go to the impure system, Sitra Achra.
These create judgment like at the time of the Flood.
It said Genesis 7:19 “וְהַמַּיִם, גָּבְרוּ מְאֹד מְאֹד–עַל-הָאָרֶץ; וַיְכֻסּוּ, כָּל-הֶהָרִים הַגְּבֹהִים, אֲשֶׁר-תַּחַת, כָּל-הַשָּׁמָיִם”
“And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high mountains that were under the whole heaven were covered.”

The people of that generation drowned in the judgments they created. Noah and his family connected to the word of God and that gave them the ability to ‘float’ above the judgments and survived the Flood.

What was their protection?
The word for Ark is תיבה, which also means ‘a word’. תיבה is also בת יה, meaning daughter of YH יה. This reveals the source of the word while coming from the upper three sefirot. Y is Keter and Chokmah and H is Binah.
The Hebrew words are a creative force and each word is a defined term with its own energy pattern.

The Zohar is Noah’s Ark for our generation. When we connect to the words of the Zohar it brings us up to the higher levels, which are Chokmah and Binah or YH. It is our ‘floating device’ to escape judgments that the world is experiencing now..

“and the waters increased, and raised the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth”

No matter how high the water is, if we have the ‘floating device’ then we are safe.

Daily Zohar #375 – Get into the water

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -375.

Tikkun 21 – 116
(Continuing previous Daily Zohar subject # 366 on)

“And YHVH spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.”

“and the Manna is like a seed of גַּד”

The two verses above and the different pieces of information below will become clearer at the end.

The Zohar gives another level of understanding to the above verse from Jonah. The fish puked Jonah to the dry land. It is like bringing out the seed of light to the vessel.

The Manna was revealed and described as “Like a seed of גד”, which have the same letters as דג, fish. The abbreviation of גד is גמול דלים, meaning “Reward for the poor”.

When we take the first letter of Jonah’s name ,י, Yod, and add it to גד it makes גיד, meaning penis, which is the level of Yessod and it channels the light to the vessel, which is Malchut.

“And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas”

In the story of Creation, the vessel received its name earth, ארץ first, then the water source was named seas ימים.
This means that the vessel needs to be defined before the light comes into it.

“”
מִקְוֵה is used here as a reference to the original waters and light of creation that will come to save us from the negativity that is all around us.

When we surround ourselves with pure water, which is the light, we can get out of the darkness.

Daily Zohar #364 – The candle of Adam

Thursday, July 22nd, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -364.

Tikkun 21 – 105

“Happy are the people that know the joyful Teruah. They will walk in the inner light of YHVH”

Among the sounds of the Shofar, Tekiah is for the right column and the color white. Shevarim is the left column and the color red. Teruah is the central column and the color green.
These three reveal and connect to the inner light of YHVH.

Before the world was created, a simple light filled up the whole existence (as described by the Ari in the book ‘Tree of Life’).
During the process the light condensed itself to create three channels and the first level was a change in the vibration of the light to form the colors white, red and green.
The green color brought about the souls.
The Zohar describes it as creating the candle of the soul.

Adam was formed from these lights and the aspect of the name that represents Zeir Anpin יוד הא ואו הא, which has the numerical value of 45, same as Adam, אדם.

Daily Zohar #346 – The day of vengeance in my heart

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -346.

Tikkun 21 – 87

“As in the days of your coming out of the land of Egypt will I show you wonders.”

On the 14th day of the month of Nisan we check and remove the Chametz, which is the negativity. This day is a day before the 15th of the month which is the time of the full moon and it represents the full revelation of the light as the first full moon of the year.

The Month of Nissan is the first month of the year. It is the month that the Israelites got out of Egypt, from slavery to freedom.

The verse above tells us the promise of God to take us out the current and final exile. This exile is our distance from the light. The light of the final redemption will come from the Torah to remove the final 32 elements of darkness from the world. This will be done by YHVH.
YHVH will remove the “Chametz” from all existence.

“For the day of vengeance that was in My heart, and My year of redemption are come”

The Zohar adds that לבי , 42, represents the 32 times the name אלהים that appears in the story of Creation, which was completed in 10 sayings of “And God said let there be….”.

The day of vengeance is the code for the final cleansing. The root of the word נקם is the same as נקי. God does not take vengeance but brings the necessary cleansing process to remove the negativity.

The verse tells that exactly when it talks about the day of cleansing “in my heart”, לבי, which is numerically 42 and the code of the beginning and the original and pure light of Creation.

Daily Zohar #343 – My heart

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -343.

Tikkun 21 – 84

“For the day of vengeance that was in My heart, and My year of redemption are come.”

My Heart, has numerical value of 42 and it represents the 42 letters name of God. It is the force of Creation and will be revealed in its full force during the Final Redemption.

אבגיתץ is the key that will open the gates of Light for the Final redemption. It will break all blockages between the light and the vessel.

קרעשטן, is the force that will remove the negativity. It literally means “tear up Satan”.

The Zohar says that the separation of the spiritual and physical water was done using the word רָקִיעַ , which is קרע + י from the second part of the 42 names plus the letter Y that brings the force of the 10 Sefirot.

The force that split the upper and lower systems to create the world, will bring the final unification of the upper and lower levels.

Daily Zohar #338 – One plus one equal One

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -338.

Tikkun 21- 79

Genesis 1:5 first part of the verse say “וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לָאוֹר יוֹם, וְלַחֹשֶׁךְ קָרָא לָיְלָה”
“and God called the Light, Day and for the darkness he called Night”

When judgment transforms into mercy it is considered as the moment of creation. The lights come to their proper vessel.

The Light is the day, right column whereas Night is darkness, left column, and vessel without light.

Rabbi Brandwein in his commentary explains that Adam sinned when he mated with Eve on Friday just before the time of Shabbat. Their connection drew light into the vessel that wasn’t ready for it. If they were to wait six more hours then they could’ve enjoyed the full revelation of the light.

The Zohar says that in the final redemption, when light comes to the vessel, judgments will be transformed into mercy because the light will fill their intended vessels.

In the second part of verse 1:5 we read “וַיְהִי-עֶרֶב וַיְהִי-בֹקֶר, יוֹם אֶחָד”
“And there was evening and there was morning, One day”

When the left and the right join in unity, there is oneness אֶחָד, which represent the love of the Creator expressed with the unity.

Adam and Eve were supposed to make the first proper connection and enjoy the light forever.

Since they failed we need to work, bring the light and create continuation in the world.

Men and women come together for intimate connection to draw and transfer light; the meditation should be of continuing the light that was available to Adam and Eve on the first Friday night, which is Shabbat, of creation.

The act of sex is treated almost like a sin in most cultures. It is done briefly on a physical level like avoiding the sin.

The unification of man and woman is the process of drawing light to create life. Without it, life will cease to exist on earth. It connects us to the first sin and to the first precept.
Life and light begin with this act. It is the responsibility of a man to bring light to the vessel when the vessel is ready or desire it and be part of the correction of the world.

“If he takes to himself another wife, he must not deprive her food, her clothing, and her conjugal rights”

The woman’s meditation should start as Binah, being above the man, Zeir Anpin, to initiate and ‘push’ the desire in him to draw the supernal light to Malchut.

When the desire is aroused in the man, the woman transforms herself from H הּ Binah to הּ H Malchut, from spreading light of Binah to receiving it as Malchut.

In the process of creation of the worlds, Malchut was elevated to Binah to receive the light and on the way down back to Malchut, the light built the channel of Zeir Anpin. Malchut received the same shape of Binah but without the light.

After Malchut is down, the man, Zeir Anpin, should activate and build the desire of the vessel to receive the light that was originally with her in Binah. The whole body of the vessel should be completely involved to draw the maximum light. The man as a conduit of the light should not focus only on channeling the light, but also to fill the vessel with it. When the vessel is well prepared then the light can come down from Binah to fill it without any lacks. Lacks can turn into judgments.

At the peak point of the connection, the light is transferred and it creates vibrations in the vessel.

The man should let the light flow until his channel completes the transfer and retracts by itself. The man and woman stay close to each other until the waters are calm again.

To achieve a higher level connection of light and vessel, the focus should be on the meditation. The physical pleasure then becomes more intense because it all starts higher on the spiritual level.

The experiences of oneness אֶחָד, should be maintained after the connection as long as possible.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.”

The unity and oneness of man and woman, right and left, light and vessel bring balance and manifest in blessings.

Daily Zohar #312 – You are “Praise worthy of…”

Saturday, May 22nd, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -312.

Tikkun 21 – 53

Shalshelet  is a cantlilation that is in the aspect of blowing the sound of Teruah תרועה with the Shofar. Its shape and sound reflect the unification of the right and the left. It also shows elevation. Parallel to it is the Shuruk below with three dots, one under the other.

The Teruah is the point of overcoming judgments and controlling the left to bring balance. That is why Teruah comes after Tekiah (right) and Shevarim (Left), when we blow the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah.

The cantillation of Shalshelet has the same purpose of unifying left and right in the Torah. It appears only in 4 places in the Torah and that tells us how important and powerful this connection is.

Psalms 89:16
“אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם, יֹדְעֵי תְרוּעָה; יְהוָה, בְּאוֹר-פָּנֶיךָ יְהַלֵּכוּן.”
“praise worthy are the people that know Teruah, in the inner light of YHVH they will walk.”

To know, is to connect. In Rosh Hashanah we ‘restart’ the year by removing negativity with the help of the Shofar. That process ends at the end of Yom Kippur when we blow the Shofar with the תרועה גדולה, great Teruah, which ‘wraps’ all the 10 days of connection with the energy of Chessed and brings it down to our life, Malchut.

The deeper meaning of this verse is in the word תרועה Teruah. The Zohar reveals us that it is built from Torah תורה and Ayin ע, with numerical value of 70. This verse has now the meaning of “Praise worthy are the people that know the Torah in all of its 70 faces”. Faces also means inner, פנים, and aspects.
The Tikkunei Zohar brings 70 inner dimensions of the Torah by discussing the ‘Head’ word of Genesis 1:1, “בראשית” “in the Beginning”.

Rabbi Shimon wrote the Tikkunei Zohar to support the Shechina, Malchut in the last generation. The Daily Zohar is all about that. We are currently discussing a section from Tikkun 21 and B”H we will complete all the 70 Tikkunim in the next couple of years.

Psalms 89:16 reveal to us. “Praise worthy are those that connect to the 70 inner faces of the Torah. This light will shine their ways”

Stay connected to the Zohar and share this light with others to be among the “Praise worthy” people.

Daily Zohar #259 – It took 7 dead kings to build a kingdom.

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -259.

Tikkun 20

אלהים has the same letters as מי אלה.

As it says in Isaiah 40:26 “מי ברא אלה” “Lift up your eyes and see who created all these ”

Tikkun 21-1

אלהים created all these אלה.
מי has numerical value of 50 and is related to Binah that came out from the supernal head of Keter. אלה is 36 lights of creation and the two forces joined together to be אלהים, which is the force that created the world of Tikkun.

From the original thought of creation came out two heads (sources of light) and that is Chokmah and Binah of the original light. That created a second level of the ten Sefirot. The top three are Keter, the emanator, Chokmah, the thought and Binah, the planner and the provider. They are extensions of the original light and have affinity with it.

When the light of Binah extended it’s light below itself, it required a receiver or a vessel to hold that light. The vessel got broken because there was no experience of holding the light. That broken vessel ‘fell down’ and the light stayed ‘floating’ awaiting a new vessel to fill. That first light had the energy of giving and we call it Chessed חסד. It has the numerical value of 72.
The Holy Ari calls the process of the ‘pushing’ the light down from Binah, “Creating and Breaking of the vessels. Each dimension / Sefira formed a different aspect of the light that came down from Binah that is the supernal mother. The light was called “King” and the vessel to hold it was called Malchut.

The second king came down to a level that had experience of the light and a desire to rule came to be. That vessel, which is the desire to hold the light, was weak and broke under the awesome light that came from Binah. The created world now had more of the broken desires and these are called Klipot, a name that means ‘shells’. They had the experience of light and unfulfilled desire to hold the light.

The following “kings” couldn’t survive in a small “kingdom”. The eighth king came to a kingdom that is all desire and he could “live”.

The 7 weeks from Passover to the holiday of Shavuot, represent the building of the vessel from the first revelation of light on the full moon of the month of Nissan, Aries until the receiving of the Torah on Mount Sinai. Each week includes the aspect of the correction of the vessel that broke in the process of creating our “Kingdom”, which is Malchut.
