Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -222.

Tikkun 19 – 2

On the first day (Genesis 1:3,4,5) God revealed his restricted light in the world using 5 times the word אור, Light.

Each of the 5 letter Alephs came with different light and the vowels [] represent Chokmah and Binah as the Light for the vessel; Tiferet as the essence of the vessel, Netzach and Hod as the base and the power of the vessel as a creative force.

In every complete level there is a revelation of 5 lights, which are Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya and Yechida.

In the process of restricting the Endless Light, to create the world of matter, the element of time is developed into effect and “distances” in the Tree of Life can be seen as years.

Year in Hebrew is שנה, also meaning “repeat”. One year is the time it takes the earth to complete a circle around the sun in order to “get” the “Light” and the energy of life.

  1. Ezra Ezra says:

The 5 Lights would thus be equivalent to 5 years or 5 x 355 (numerical value of ShNH), which is 1775, the numerical value of the full 27 letters of the Hebrew alef-bet. Do you think this is a coincidence?
