Tikkun 19 – 10
Before we connect to the supernal for spiritual cleansing, we need to remove the lower level negativity by going through the 7 levels of the Malchut to Chessed.
A woman waits for 7 days of purity on the physical level before going for spiritual cleansing in the Mikveh. As Malchut she connects to her husband, Zeir Anpin to draw the upper light for blessing and continuation of light in the world.
The 7 day wait guarantees that she goes through one Shabbat and touch the energy of Binah. The man should cleanse in the Mikveh before Shabbat for his connection to Binah.
The whole body of a person should be totally under the water to be able to remove the negativity. When under the water it’s like being inside the womb of a mother and this mother is Binah.
The impure system can not exist under the water.
There are different meditations when immersing in the Mikveh. Especially for men they should start with (Numbers 10:32)
“קוּמָה יְהוָה, וְיָפֻצוּ אֹיְבֶיךָ, וְיָנֻסוּ מְשַׂנְאֶיךָ, מִפָּנֶיךָ”
“Rise up, YHVH, and let your enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you.”
The first word has the same letters of Mikveh“מקוה”.
Then from Zechariah 13:2 “וְאֶת-רוּחַ הַטֻּמְאָה, אַעֲבִיר מִן-הָאָרֶץ”
“…and the unclean spirit I will cause to pass out of the land”
These thirteen words have the power to remove the impurity attached us due to active or passive negative actions.
The highest connection between the light and the vessel is achieved on Shavuot.
After 7 weeks, which is 7 times 7, on the 50th day we do a special spiritual cleansing. In the first part we read 24 segments from the bible that are called “decorations of the bride”. This connection brings us to the event of the giving of the Torah and Mount Sinai and the energy of immortality.
To achieve that energy for the whole year, a person should stay awake all through the night and immerse in the Mikveh in the early morning with the consciousness of connecting the light and the vessel, Zeir Anpin and Malchut, the Torah and Israelites, the body and soul.
Sleeping is an experience of 1/60 part of death. If the soul leaves the body to sleep, even for one minute, negativity is attached to it immediately and corrupts the connection to the light of immortality on that special night.
To reach this night there is a process of Counting of the Omer for 49 days.
The Holy Ari said that fulfilling these conditions guarantee a person, protection from all harms for the whole year or until the next Rosh Hashanah.
We repeat this process until we merit the immortality state as described in Isaiah 25:8 “בִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח” “He will swallow up death for ever”

is it the reason why some at morning wash their hands with water ?
Do we all have to do this to remove negativity from sleeping ?
When we sleep we experience one sixtieth of death. Negativity tries to ‘suck’ as much as they can especially when at the beginning and end of sleep.
Most people experience that as bad dreams or strange feelings.
With every action there is negativity.
It is highly recommended to wash hands as first thing in the morning. Before rubbing your eyes or prepare food, especially when there little kids to attend.
There is negativity in every action and without getting ‘crazy’ about it, a person should learn to sense if he feel negativity in his hand after doing action or even shake hands with another person. It doesn’t matter if their hand was just soaped and disinfectant. Negativity can transfer easily. Wash hands when you feel like it and don’t forget to use moisturizing cream.

No need if you go back to sleep. Yes if you wake up for work or eat.
If a mother wake up to take care of her child and if there is no urgency then it is better to wash before.

Why each world is a day ?
Mitzvoth arwe not commands from a ‘scary’ God. Mitzvoth are our opportunity to draw light.
I added moisturazing cream for two reasons, first because if you wash a lot then the skin gets dryer, second reason is to be as a reminder for us to pay attention to other details when we do spiritual action.
Ana B’Koach connect to Shavout because we count the Omer for 7 weeks. Every day we meditate on a different letter from the 42 letters. Every 7th day we connect the previous 6 as one. so the first six days we have א-ב-ג-י-ת-ץ and on the 7th we meditate on אבגיתץ and so on.
Sarah, yes that is exactly the reason why we wash the hands in the morning, to remove the ruach hatumah from ones self. We wash 8 times (four on each hand) although during the day when leaving the bathroom we only wash 6 times (3 times each hand). That shows that when waking up we have on ourselves so much ruach hatumeh. During the night the sitra achre reigns supreme, while during the “day” the sitra achre can be easily made harmless; through tzitzis or just about any sincere mitzvah.
is the snow a mikve ?
Snow is not alternative to a water Mikveh but the Holy Ari, gave us special meditation to role naked 9 times in the snow to cleanse ‘sins’ related to wrong sexual connection.
It is called Tikkun Sheleg. The word for snow in Hebrew is שלג with numerical value 333. It can correct all that relate to שגל, same letters that means sexual connection. The mediation is 3 times א-ל-ף (gimatria 111) after each role we need to stand up then fall again and do complete role for the next letter.

Women is a vessel and she receives the light from the man. Her desires forms and manifest this light.
If the man has negativity then it passes to her. Woman’s meditation should be to remove that negativity using the 9 roles (to the right) (3 times אלף).

For a woman it is especially done if she was nidah during the act.
Sarah, no; gilgul sheleg is to torture oneself and so negate the pleasure of sin, so as not to need to suffer instead in the next world. Mikvah on the other hand should become a pleasurable experience. To me as a man it is.
Don’t worry, nobody is asking us to do gilgul sheleg, it was meant for big tzadikim who are on a higher level then most of us. There are many other ways for us to do teshuvah and enjoy life at the same time, only, we need guidance as to how, from someone like a rabbi on how to accomplish that. If we love G-d and do his will, then shall be able to eat the cake and have it too.
Sarah, I take it back. If to a woman Mikvah is torture, then it should count similar to gilgul sheleg.
Than you A Simple Jew for your comments. Indeed you are right. All body tortures with the right consciousness remove negativity from it. The Holy Ari has another tikkun called gilgul Charulim, which is roling of a special plant that burns the skin. This is for cases when a person shames his friend in public. Another tikkun is to get into a sack and let your friends beat you without you knowing who did what.
The easier and simple way to cleanse is to do day fast. No eating or drinking from first light to sundown. Some negativity can be removed only by many many dayfast.
It is good to do such fast from time to time, in order to control the body selfish desires that drives us away from the light.

If you don’t have a way to get to a synagogue to listen to the Torah reading then Stay up all night (Untill you can see the blue color in the sky). Read from the Torah, Bible and scan Tikkunei Zohar.
Must have Hebrew Aramaic text to make the connection.
