Tikkun 21 – 108
Song of Songs 5:15 “שׁוֹקָיו עַמּוּדֵי שֵׁשׁ, מְיֻסָּדִים עַל-אַדְנֵי-פָז”
“His legs are as pillars of marble (meaning 6 in Hebrew), set upon sockets of fine gold”
“And the spirit of YHVH shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom (1) and understanding (2), the spirit of counsel (3) and might(4), the spirit of knowledge (5) and of the fear of YHVH(6).”
The light comes to the heart through the lungs. The two main chambers of the heart are the candles of the soul. Candle in Hebrew is נר. The two letters are for נפש and רוח, which are the soul levels of Nefesh and Ruach.
The light brings the life force into the body and animates it. This light is represented by the letter Vav ו with numerical value of 6. It moves the 6 joints of the two hands and the 6 joints of the legs.
Ezekiel 1:12 “אֶל אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה-שָּׁמָּה הָרוּחַ לָלֶכֶת יֵלֵכוּ, לֹא יִסַּבּוּ בְּלֶכְתָּן”
“Wherever the spirit (Ruach) was going, they went; they do not turn when they walk.”
All parts of the body follow this light. The spirit, which is the Ruach of the soul, guides us traveling in many directions. Ruach means “wind” in Hebrew and like the wind pushes the ship on the water, that is how we move in life. The ship in whole is the aspect of the mind, heart and body that navigate the ship.
When we are connected to the Ruach, we have easy sail in life but if we go against it we experience hardship and situations that can break our vessel.
In the previous Daily Zohar we explained the story of Jonah. When he tried to run away from his job in life avoiding the guidance of the light, the ship that carried him almost broke. (Jonah 1:4)

My ship almost broke. I almost died. Ever since I have met my teacher who you know very well, and since I have advanced my spiritual studies over the last ten years. I have been hit from every side possible and it never stops.
I know how to combat the strong fronts that the opponent puts on me. But he is very cleaver and comes at me when I least expect it or hurts others that I care about when I am to strong for it to get to me. Things have been very diffictult for me over the last number of years, but I never give up! Bli ayin hara! Sometimes living the spiritual life is very difficult. We want to soar into the clouds with the angels and the Light of the creator. But then we are struck with a large storm that blocks are way. Even though we are strong witn our spiritual tools, we can, like you said to me in our last email, that we can fall in the midst of that same storm.
I should have written you a personal email line on this one Zion. But then again, we are all one family in the Light of the creators eyes..
This one, as well as the last three entries have really spoken to me. Thank you my friend.
Love and blessings,
Shimon..
The illusion that the higher you go, the harder the fall is based on the fact that Satan manipulates time, and you don’t. Unless you can see the outcome of your actions, and act with others and think about others with compassion and empathy, as you yourself would wish to be treated, then you often can miss the point of your own thoughts and actions.
How we think and feel and act makes us playwrights of our own lives—and either we know where the play is going, or we’ve some idea, or we’re merely improvising. I want a hit for all times. I don’t want to “get lucky this time,” or “bomb out.”
It is true, Shimon: the more we know, the more we are capable of seeing, and therefore the pitfalls appear to be all that greater. But they were always there. We just stepped over them or got lucky. Greater consciousness is simply greater sight which means greater responsibility for our actions. None of it’s easy, but it’s a play worth being. And the more you write, the better you get!
Love.
I am repeating this part of Stephen’s comment because it should be repeated. It is an important spiritual lesson.
“Greater consciousness is simply greater sight which means greater responsibility for our actions. None of it’s easy, but it’s a play worth being. And the more you write, the better you get! “

Thank you for your comment.
“A spiritual sage or saint is really nothing more than a sinner who has never given up”.

The best teacher is experience.
It said that a righteous person cannot stand where a person of Teshuvah stands.
The reason for that is that a person that correct his impurities is on a higher level than a person that never did negative. It may sound incorrect but it is true. Overcoming the negative reveal more light that not doing the negative.
A sinner that turn rigteous is a better teacher that a righteous that never ‘sinned’.
The greatness of the pure righteous teachers is when they transform ‘sinners’ to rigteous.
To all sinners of the world, you have the light in your hands. You’ll gain greater light when you transform it to positive.
To Jerry Shimon Erickson & to Stephen Geller thank you for your comments on #367 that you posted. It was highly appreciated
Thank you Rosemary for giving thanks here on the site. I know for certain that many others enjoy the sharing acts of all those that add their comments.
I teach my girls (7 and 5 years old), “Giving thanks is good energy”.
I invite everyone to comment directly or indirectly to the articles of the daily zohar. Even if the commentary reminded you of another lesson or experience in life, share it with others. We are learning from each other and if someone appreciate your comment it translated into light in your life.
