Daily Zohar #375 – Get into the water

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -375.

Tikkun 21 – 116
(Continuing previous Daily Zohar subject # 366 on)

Jonah 2:11 “ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, לַדָּג; וַיָּקֵא אֶת-יוֹנָה, אֶל-הַיַּבָּשָׁה”
“And YHVH spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.”

Numbers 11:7 “ וְהַמָּן, כִּזְרַע-גַּד הוּא”
“and the Manna is like a seed of גַּד”

The two verses above and the different pieces of information below will become clearer at the end.

The Zohar gives another level of understanding to the above verse from Jonah. The fish puked Jonah to the dry land. It is like bringing out the seed of light to the vessel.

The Manna was revealed and described as “Like a seed of גד”, which have the same letters as דג, fish. The abbreviation of גד is גמול דלים, meaning “Reward for the poor”.

When we take the first letter of Jonah’s name ,י, Yod, and add it to גד it makes גיד, meaning penis, which is the level of Yessod and it channels the light to the vessel, which is Malchut.

Genesis 1:10 “וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לַיַּבָּשָׁה אֶרֶץ, וּלְמִקְוֵה הַמַּיִם קָרָא יַמִּים”
“And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas”

In the story of Creation, the vessel received its name earth, ארץ first, then the water source was named seas ימים.
This means that the vessel needs to be defined before the light comes into it.

Jeremiah 14:8 “מִקְוֵה, יִשְׂרָאֵל, מוֹשִׁיעוֹ, בְּעֵת צָרָה”
“”
מִקְוֵה is used here as a reference to the original waters and light of creation that will come to save us from the negativity that is all around us.

When we surround ourselves with pure water, which is the light, we can get out of the darkness.

Daily Zohar #362 – How to stop oil spills

Tikkun 21 – 103

When the soul has no blemishes, it is as part of the Shechina.
As it is said in Song of Songs 4:7 “כֻּלָּךְ יָפָה רַעְיָתִי, וּמוּם אֵין בָּךְ.”
“You art all beauty, my darling wife; and there is no blemish in you”

If impurity tries to come closer to a pure soul, it dies
Numbers 1:51 “וְהַזָּר הַקָּרֵב, יוּמָת”
“And the stranger who is coming near is put to death”
The one that is not from the pure side can not come near the holy because the high light will consume his soul.

The Torah police will not take the person to court and execute him because of coming close to the light. It is the impurity that will die and disappear.

Numbers 4:19
“וְזֹאת עֲשׂוּ לָהֶם, וְחָיוּ וְלֹא יָמֻתוּ, בְּגִשְׁתָּם, אֶת-קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים: אַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו, יָבֹאוּ, וְשָׂמוּ אוֹתָם אִישׁ אִישׁ עַל-עֲבֹדָתוֹ, וְאֶל-מַשָּׂאוֹ.”
“But these do to them, and they have lived, and do not die in their drawing nigh the holy of holies: — Aaron and his sons go in, and have set them, each man to his service, and unto his burden,”
Numbers 4:20
“וְלֹא-יָבֹאוּ לִרְאוֹת כְּבַלַּע אֶת-הַקֹּדֶשׁ, וָמֵתוּ”
God gives Moses and Aaron specific instructions on handling the elements of the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle. The priests will take them down and wrap them before the Levites come to carry them. If they see any part from the Holy of Holies they will be swallowed and die. In this case, the priests and the Holy of Holies are the right column. The Levites are from the Left column and if they see the Holy tools, the high energy of the supernal right column will consume them.

The sin of Adam and Eve happened before they became totally pure with the light of Shabbat. They connected to the Tree of Knowledge Good and Bad and they lost their potential ‘immortality’. The negative side swallowed their light and they found themselves ‘naked’. God told them that if they connect to the other Tree, they will die and that is what happened. They brought mortality on themselves and all the generations that followed.

Isaiah 42:8
“אֲנִי יְהוָה, הוּא שְׁמִי; וּכְבוֹדִי לְאַחֵר לֹא-אֶתֵּן, וּתְהִלָּתִי לַפְּסִילִים”
“I am YHVH, this is my name, And Mine honor to another I give not, nor my praise to graven images.”
The energy of the name YHVH will not pass to impurity.

When the soul is connected with love and purity to the YHVH system, it can draw from its light. The actions that we do from our loving heart control the energy in the body and bring the YHVH to fill the four chambers in our heart. Only then we can overcome the negative side of the Liver, Spleen and Bile from taking control over us.

When the world behaves with hate and greed the earth, which is the body, brings out negativity in different forms. Volcanic dust, oil spills, toxic gases, tsunamis, earth quakes etc.

Keep your heart pure to connect to the protection shield of YHVH.

Daily Zohar #343 – My heart

Tikkun 21 – 84

Isaiah 63:4 “ כִּי יוֹם נָקָם, בְּלִבִּי; וּשְׁנַת גְּאוּלַי, בָּאָה.”
“For the day of vengeance that was in My heart, and My year of redemption are come.”

לִבִּי , My Heart, has numerical value of 42 and it represents the 42 letters name of God. It is the force of Creation and will be revealed in its full force during the Final Redemption.

אבגיתץ קרעשטן נגדיכש בטרצתג חקבטנע יגלפזק שקוצית

אבגיתץ is the key that will open the gates of Light for the Final redemption. It will break all blockages between the light and the vessel.

קרעשטן, is the force that will remove the negativity. It literally means “tear up Satan”.

Genesis 1:6 “ וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יְהִי רָקִיעַ בְּתוֹךְ הַמָּיִם, וִיהִי מַבְדִּיל, בֵּין מַיִם לָמָיִם.”

The Zohar says that the separation of the spiritual and physical water was done using the word רָקִיעַ , which is קרע + י from the second part of the 42 names plus the letter Y that brings the force of the 10 Sefirot.

The force that split the upper and lower systems to create the world, will bring the final unification of the upper and lower levels.

Daily Zohar #338 – One plus one equal One

Tikkun 21- 79

Genesis 1:5 first part of the verse say “וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לָאוֹר יוֹם, וְלַחֹשֶׁךְ קָרָא לָיְלָה”
“and God called the Light, Day and for the darkness he called Night”

When judgment transforms into mercy it is considered as the moment of creation. The lights come to their proper vessel.

The Light is the day, right column whereas Night is darkness, left column, and vessel without light.

Rabbi Brandwein in his commentary explains that Adam sinned when he mated with Eve on Friday just before the time of Shabbat. Their connection drew light into the vessel that wasn’t ready for it. If they were to wait six more hours then they could’ve enjoyed the full revelation of the light.

The Zohar says that in the final redemption, when light comes to the vessel, judgments will be transformed into mercy because the light will fill their intended vessels.

In the second part of verse 1:5 we read “וַיְהִי-עֶרֶב וַיְהִי-בֹקֶר, יוֹם אֶחָד”
“And there was evening and there was morning, One day”

When the left and the right join in unity, there is oneness אֶחָד, which represent the love of the Creator expressed with the unity.

Adam and Eve were supposed to make the first proper connection and enjoy the light forever.

Since they failed we need to work, bring the light and create continuation in the world.

Men and women come together for intimate connection to draw and transfer light; the meditation should be of continuing the light that was available to Adam and Eve on the first Friday night, which is Shabbat, of creation.

The act of sex is treated almost like a sin in most cultures. It is done briefly on a physical level like avoiding the sin.

The unification of man and woman is the process of drawing light to create life. Without it, life will cease to exist on earth. It connects us to the first sin and to the first precept.
Life and light begin with this act. It is the responsibility of a man to bring light to the vessel when the vessel is ready or desire it and be part of the correction of the world.

Exodus 21:10 “אִם-אַחֶרֶת, יִקַּח-לוֹ–שְׁאֵרָהּ כְּסוּתָהּ וְעֹנָתָהּ, לֹא יִגְרָע”
“If he takes to himself another wife, he must not deprive her food, her clothing, and her conjugal rights”

The woman’s meditation should start as Binah, being above the man, Zeir Anpin, to initiate and ‘push’ the desire in him to draw the supernal light to Malchut.

When the desire is aroused in the man, the woman transforms herself from H הּ Binah to הּ H Malchut, from spreading light of Binah to receiving it as Malchut.

In the process of creation of the worlds, Malchut was elevated to Binah to receive the light and on the way down back to Malchut, the light built the channel of Zeir Anpin. Malchut received the same shape of Binah but without the light.

After Malchut is down, the man, Zeir Anpin, should activate and build the desire of the vessel to receive the light that was originally with her in Binah. The whole body of the vessel should be completely involved to draw the maximum light. The man as a conduit of the light should not focus only on channeling the light, but also to fill the vessel with it. When the vessel is well prepared then the light can come down from Binah to fill it without any lacks. Lacks can turn into judgments.

At the peak point of the connection, the light is transferred and it creates vibrations in the vessel.

The man should let the light flow until his channel completes the transfer and retracts by itself. The man and woman stay close to each other until the waters are calm again.

To achieve a higher level connection of light and vessel, the focus should be on the meditation. The physical pleasure then becomes more intense because it all starts higher on the spiritual level.

The experiences of oneness אֶחָד, should be maintained after the connection as long as possible.

Genesis 2:24 “עַל-כֵּן, יַעֲזָב-אִישׁ, אֶת-אָבִיו, וְאֶת-אִמּוֹ; וְדָבַק בְּאִשְׁתּוֹ, וְהָיוּ לְבָשָׂר אֶחָד”
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.”

The unity and oneness of man and woman, right and left, light and vessel bring balance and manifest in blessings.

Daily Zohar #312 – You are “Praise worthy of…”

Tikkun 21 – 53

Shalshelet  is a cantlilation that is in the aspect of blowing the sound of Teruah תרועה with the Shofar. Its shape and sound reflect the unification of the right and the left. It also shows elevation. Parallel to it is the Shuruk below with three dots, one under the other.

The Teruah is the point of overcoming judgments and controlling the left to bring balance. That is why Teruah comes after Tekiah (right) and Shevarim (Left), when we blow the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah.

The cantillation of Shalshelet has the same purpose of unifying left and right in the Torah. It appears only in 4 places in the Torah and that tells us how important and powerful this connection is.

Psalms 89:16
“אַשְׁרֵי הָעָם, יֹדְעֵי תְרוּעָה; יְהוָה, בְּאוֹר-פָּנֶיךָ יְהַלֵּכוּן.”
“praise worthy are the people that know Teruah, in the inner light of YHVH they will walk.”

To know, is to connect. In Rosh Hashanah we ‘restart’ the year by removing negativity with the help of the Shofar. That process ends at the end of Yom Kippur when we blow the Shofar with the תרועה גדולה, great Teruah, which ‘wraps’ all the 10 days of connection with the energy of Chessed and brings it down to our life, Malchut.

The deeper meaning of this verse is in the word תרועה Teruah. The Zohar reveals us that it is built from Torah תורה and Ayin ע, with numerical value of 70. This verse has now the meaning of “Praise worthy are the people that know the Torah in all of its 70 faces”. Faces also means inner, פנים, and aspects.
The Tikkunei Zohar brings 70 inner dimensions of the Torah by discussing the ‘Head’ word of Genesis 1:1, “בראשית” “in the Beginning”.

Rabbi Shimon wrote the Tikkunei Zohar to support the Shechina, Malchut in the last generation. The Daily Zohar is all about that. We are currently discussing a section from Tikkun 21 and B”H we will complete all the 70 Tikkunim in the next couple of years.

Psalms 89:16 reveal to us. “Praise worthy are those that connect to the 70 inner faces of the Torah. This light will shine their ways”

Daily Zohar #309 – Chant with joy to the whole earth

Tikkun 21 – 50


On the top of the cantillation mark list we find the ‘Zarka ͂ ‘. Its shape is like a wave and its sound goes higher in the tone.

The Zohar describes it as the secret of the verse from Psalms 48:3
“יְפֵה נוֹף, מְשׂוֹשׂ כָּל-הָאָרֶץ: הַר-צִיּוֹן, יַרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן; קִרְיַת, מֶלֶךְ רָב.”
“Fair in situation, joy of the whole earth…” . The rest of the English translation will only corrupt the power of the verse so here is the translation to the deeper meaning;
“Up above where the light comes out in beauty and bright, spreading out to the three columns through Yessod to the whole earth. The mountain of Zion is where the light comes out from the upper levels through Yessod to Malchut. It is supported by Netzach and Hod to sustain the Kingdom, which is Malchut.

In most places in the Torah the Segol ̈́̈́ comes immediately after Zarka. It represents the three columns. Zarka channels the light of Binah which is represented by the wave symbol. The Zarka is the giver and the Segol is the receiver. The chanting of them also reflects the transfer of the energy from Binah to the sefirot below.

First appearance of Zarka and Segol in the Torah, Genesis 1:7

The word Zarka זרקה with its inner energy reveals the light רז = 207, of Binah ק =100, that feeds the levels down to Malchut ה.

Daily Zohar #280 – It’s good for everyone.

Tikkun 21 – 21

The sword that came from the supernal is the secret of the central column. As it evolved, it split the energy that spread out from above into the three columns,

Yod is the tip of the sword, Vav is the body and the blades are the two He of Binah and Malchut.

The scabbard is the name ADNY and when the judgments of the sword were inserted into the scabbard it turned into mercy.

It is the result of connecting the name YHVH and ADNY to make YAHDVNHY יאהדונהי.

YH is the driving force, but to remove judgment we use the VH and connect them in Malchut with ADNY to transform judgment to mercy.

When the male connects to the female it allows the circuit of light to flow and energize existence. It is the blessing from Genesis 1:27 “זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה, בָּרָא אֹתָם. ’, “male and female He created them” and in 1:28 the blessing, “ וַיְבָרֶךְ אֹתָם, אֱלֹהִים,” “and God BLESS them..”.

Energy must have a vessel to manifest itself. If we don’t connect our electrical devices to the power outlets, the electric supplier company must shut off generators because if they can’t channel the energy it creates ‘overload’ = judgments in the system.

The light force is constant. It is available at all times without limitation. If we don’t use it, it is abused by the negative side. Open your vessel and connect positively. It is good for everyone.

Daily Zohar #275 – What a cause? what an effect?

Tikkun 21 – 16

When the Holy one Bless be He, plan to make a miracle, the Shechinah comes to that place.
When Moses hit the rock, the Shechinah went away and God was upset because there was a loss of connection between the light and the vessel.

This explains Numbers 20:12 “וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה, אֶל-מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל-אַהֲרֹן, יַעַן לֹא-הֶאֱמַנְתֶּם בִּי, לְהַקְדִּישֵׁנִי לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל–לָכֵן, לֹא תָבִיאוּ אֶת-הַקָּהָל הַזֶּה, אֶל-הָאָרֶץ, אֲשֶׁר-נָתַתִּי לָהֶם”
“…because you didn’t believe in me to sanctify me, …you will not bring the people to the land which I have given them.”
To sanctify is להקדיש, meaning to make holy. YHVH wanted to make a connection through the water to the Shechinah and transfer the supernal light to the people.

If the people were to reach the Promised Land (vessel and Shechinah) with that water (=supernal light) the vessel would have been filled and would have created equality between light and vessel. This is the goal and process of creation, to bring back the oneness that was in the beginning.

Genesis 1:9 “יִקָּווּ הַמַּיִם מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶל-מָקוֹם אֶחָד” “let the water gather into one place…”, That place is the Holy Land.

The archangel Metatron, represented by the rock, was the bridge between upper and lower. He was “one foot” inside Malchut. His name was מיטטרון, with Yod after the Mem. Numerical value 324. Bridging Binah with 10 times 10 sefirot add 100 to the process and we get 424, which is for “Mashiach ben David”. That is the aspect of complete connection between the light and vessel.

Because hitting the rock was at the lower level, the letter Yod from Metatron’s name left with the Shechinah. Metatron is now at the supernal gate and the ‘job’ of bridging the supernal light to the vessel with Mashiach is left to Moses to complete.

Daily Zohar #245 – The three hands of God.

Tikkun 19 – 21

Genesis 1:1 “בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ”The first verse of the Torah has 28 letters, same as the numerical value of כח, meaning power and might also the first two letters of Chokmah.

The power for the creation and for any action comes from those 28 letters. Our two hands have 10 fingers with 28 bone segments. Hand is יד in Hebrew with value of 14.

God’s power extend through his names;

Name of Chokmah יהוה + יודהיויוהי
Name of Binah = יהוה + יודהיואוהי
28 letters for the creative power of Chokmah and Binah

The manifestation power begins with Zeir Anpin.

Name of Zeir Anpin = יהוה + יודהאואוהא
(14 letters)

Together 42 letters for the name of 42 (Ana B’Koach)

These are the three hands of God.

When we use our hands to make something, we should be conscious about the fact that the power that we have in our hands are bestowed on us from the supernal. We have the two hands with the power of the 28 but the positive manifestation is when we include the third hand of God in the aspect of Zeir Anpin, יהוה + יודהאואוהא in our thoughts and consciousness.

Daily Zohar #241 – 408 + 599592 = one soul + twice light

Tikkun 19-19

All the meditations to unify upper and lower, Zeir Anpin and Malchut are for the purpose to connect the souls of all Israelites to the Torah. Taking זאת to Zeir Anpin.
The six days of creation on the highest level are counted as 600000. The work in Malchut is to repair the broken vessel to be able to hold the light constantly without losing it to the negative side.
זאת is the story of the global correction. The first letter ז is equal to 7 to tell us the connection to the 7 Sefirot and the final destination which is a time that every day will be like Shabbat.
The את is the first and the last element in the set of spiritual tools known as the Hebrew letters. את represents the first creation by God before any matter. It said in Genesis 1:1
“בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ”
“In the beginning God created אֵת heaven and אֵת earth”
The next process of 7 days is represented by the letter ז, which is a combination of the letter Vav (=6) and a crown on top.

When the Torah is raised before the Shabbat reading, the congregation recites from Deuteronomy 4:44 “וְזֹאת, הַתּוֹרָה, אֲשֶׁר-שָׂם מֹשֶׁה, לִפְנֵי בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל.”
“And וְזֹאת is the Torah which Moses set before the children of Israel”
When we elevate ְזֹאת with the Torah by our connection we create a unification that completes the circle of light and vessel and puts our soul as part of the Torah.
We add the letter Vav that represents Zeir Anpin to זֹאת to create continuation. The letter Vav is the Hebrew letter that connects two parts. וְזֹאת has the same numerical value of twice light אור for running and returning light.
