Tikkun 21 – 143

אמר רבי יוחנן משום רשב”י: אלמלי ישראל משמרים שתי שבתות כהלכתן מיד נגאלים
שבת קיח

The sages of the Talmud, quoted Rabbi Shimon quoting the earlier sages saying that if the Israelites observe one Shabbat perfectly then they will be redeemed immediately. (on another hand written version of the Zohar it is said two Shabbats.)

Explanation: Israelites are the channel of the light to the world. If they won’t corrupt the flow of the light of Binah that comes on Shabbat the world will be filled with the light that will break all negativity. The result is constant flow of light to the world.

This is a true statement but also good in theory. Like Adam didn’t have a chance to win the Snake, so we have to go through the whole process and earn the light now and in the Final Redemption. We are in the state of ‘lost in darkness’ (Genesis 3:9) אַיֶּכָּה.

When the time comes, YHVH will come down to remove the negativity and allow the flow of the light to continue uninterrupted.

We can reach a personal Redemption/Mashiach when we focus on the light that will gradually remove the negativity from our lives as we complete our Tikkun. When we achieve that we come closer to enjoy worry free life as we understand that we are with the light and everything is part of him/the system. The next level is a point where there is no fear of death, not because you are desperate to leave the chaos in your life, but because you feel closer to the light and death is just a jump over the wall to be closer to the light and to see the king.

Daily Zohar #224 – Don’t close the gate, Adam

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -224.

Tikkun 19 – 4

The two aspects of the Torah, which are the Oral and the Written are represented by the 53 Torah portions that are read on Shabbat.

The inner courtyard of the Holy Temple represents the written Torah and the outer yard is the oral Torah. The gate between them is opened only on Shabbat.

The 53 comes from Song of Songs 4:12 “גַּן נָעוּל, אֲחֹתִי כַלָּה; גַּל נָעוּל, מַעְיָן חָתוּם” “A garden is shut up, my sister, my bride; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed. “. Garden = גַּן= 53.

The gate to the Garden is locked during the six days and on Shabbat it is opened.

God created the world in a 6 day process and on the seventh day he opens the supernal gate to provide energy to his creation. The opening of the gate on the first Shabbat was supposed to stay open forever. Because of the Sin, the gate closed to separate between the Tree of Life that is inside the Garden (inner courtyard with the Holy of Holies) and the tree of Knowledge Good and Bad outside the gate (outer courtyard).

Genesis 3:24 “He drove out Adam…. and put the flaming sword to keep the way to the Tree of Life.”

Adam’s sin corrupted the balance in the Garden of Eden and created separation between the upper and lower.

This is the explanation to Song of Song 4:12 “a fountain is sealed”.

Since “the sin” we need to work to earn the Light. On Shabbat we receive the Light that we earned for the work we did during the past week. The light of Shabbat is given based on the individual spiritual vessel created that week. Our sages said “Whoever does the work before Shabbat, eats on Shabbat”. “מי שטרח בערב שבת, יאכל בשבת”

Shabbat is the resting day because it is all about receiving the light. Don’t close the gate to your light.

Daily Zohar #169 – A spiritual connection name desire

Sunday, November 29th, 2009

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -169.

Tikkun #17

The energy that sustained Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden was pure and unlimited.
After the sin the wheat received a covering that in order to eat it, man needed to work and remove the covering to reveal the pure wheat and convert it to energy.
That explains Genesis 3:19 “With your sweat you shall eat bread…”
This symbolize the process of “earning the light”, we have no more free food.
The work to remove the negativity from the pure creates light of Chassadim that reveals the light of Chokmah in our life.
The work is to unite the light and vessel by removing the negativity that was created in the original sin.
When a man unites with his wife, they should do it with holiness and remove the negativity of the evil inclination that attached to them by the Snake.
To achieve an elevated state and purify the seeds, they should focus on the light drawn by the sacred connection rather than on the physical desires and attraction. Especially when uniting to bring children to this world..

Daily Zohar #153 – Heal your heel

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -153.

Tikkun #13 continue

Jacob represents the central column, Tiferet, He is holding together Chessed and Gevurah but the below him, Netzach and Hod need correction. It said in Genesis 32:32 “…and he limped upon his thigh”. This verse signifies that there is a Tikkun to be done in the level of Hod, which is the left leg.

When Jacob fought the angel of the negative side the letter Y י from his name Yaakov, יעקב, left him and the name became עקב, meaning “heel” and that is the place where negativity attached to him. It is also part of God’s “punishment” to Adam for following the Snake in the Garden of Eden.

In Genesis 3:15 we read “…and you (the snake) will seek and attack his (Adam’s) heel”. The heel is the lowest part of the body and therefor related to Malchut.

The forces of negativity have the ability to influence negativity on us, in the Malchut level until the “Heel” is healed by walking on the right path and avoiding The Snake.
