Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -1120

Pinchas 140-142
Note: Please do not apply any ‘earthly’ association or imagination to the description of any Zohar part. It is all about spiritual forces and the relations between them.

“In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned”

The Holy system gives us opportunity to connect to the Shechina. She is the female aspect of the Light and when we connect to her we draw light from the upper levels.

The Zohar describes the Shechina as a bride, a precious stone whose husband allows her to leave him for the day to be among the righteous people and shine her light. In the evening she goes back to her husband, rests between his arms that represent the Right and Left columns. At midnight the Shechina is in unification with the Light and by morning she is filled with Chassadim to bring down to the world.

Moses had the Shechina with him all the time because he could go between the upper and lower levels.

For that reason God asked Moses to give Pinchas permission to connect to the Shechina.

“the righteous dealt graciously, and gives.”

With that gift of connection to the Shechina at all times, Pinchas was able to have the ‘supernal priesthood’, meaning connection to the light at the levels that are above the seven Sefirot. As we explained in previous DZ, Pinchas became immortal and later transformed to become Elijah the prophet who has the ability to move between the spiritual and physical worlds.

Rabbi Shimon reveals the secrets of the Torah in the Zohar and gives us the gift of connection to higher spiritual levels. The Zohar gives support to the Shechina in this world and it represents the righteous people that can hardly be found for the Shechina to connect and support. With the Zohar study we reveal light in the world, like Rabbi Shimon and draw the Shechina to us.

Each section is a treasure of higher secrets of the Spiritual System and when the Zohar reveals it and by studying it, we pull a string of light to the world.

    Amen Amen
    Zion thank you
    for offering us
    this string of Light
    withLOve & Light

    Sarah

  2. avatar Ivan says:

    Grateful,

    What about my soul?
So my soul as matter of fact is not my soul?

So it could be that body and mental entity could be depleeted of my soul’s Light?
Morning Blessins Modeh Ani . morning Washing of the hands after possible return of the soul to the body?

And even Shema reading before Soul’s leaving during the night?

In this case the female concept and male concept is leaving the body? So man’s balancing ?What does this mean for activity of the person during the night? Those who work, those who train, those who study during the night when his soul is left. Or those who make unification with partner ( soul mate or not ) if the soul left the body.

When we talked about the 5 levels of the soul. And soul is leaving, is this the process of diminishing of highest levels or soul as whole?

    >>>”At midnight the Shechina is in unification with the Light and by morning she is filled
    >>>with Chassadim to bring down to the world.”
Is not the Shechina the dwelling of the Light itself in the realm of Malchut? What does it mean that there is still unification with Light?

    • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

The soul leaves the body when the person sleeps. When one wakes up at night to study his soul is back.

Out of the five only three levels are available. The nefesh is the lowest and always with the living body. Ruach and neshamah can be achieved with ‘good behaviour’. At sleep time only one part of 60 of nefesh stays with the body. The rest are off for a spiritual trip.

      • avatar Chris says:

Why do 5 soul levels exist when only 3 are available? Thanks.

        • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

I forgot to mention the other two. They are Chaya and Yechida. They are reserved for the righteous in heavens and for those who merit it in the Final Redemption. Yechida is the higher level and at that level one controls all aspect of physicality. But this could happen only after Mashiach comes and remove all negativity from the world.
We should prepare our souls to merit this.
All good things are reserved for the next world.

  3. avatar Lea says:

What a beautiful and well placed translation, Zion, for such a bright string of Light:

“The Zohar describes the Shechina as a bride, a precious stone whose husband allows her to leave him for the day to be among the righteous people and shine her light. In the evening she goes back to her husband, rests between his arms that represent the Right and Left columns. At midnight the Shechina is in unification with the Light and by morning she is filled with Chassadim to bring down to the world.”

    Thank you so much,
    Light to all, always

      About the Hebrew translation;
The story about it is that shortly after the Zohar published by Rabbi Ashlag a young guy worked day and night for a couple or more years to translate the entire Zohar from Aramaic to Hebrew. When he finished, he went to the Yeshivah of the Kabbalists in Jerusalem and hand them the work(on papers). He did not ask for money or to put his name as translator. He gave it to them and left. Shortly after he passed away. I am sure his soul is with Rabbi Shimon.
There are no copyrights on the Hebrew translations and anyone can copy and use it as they want.

      • avatar Lea says:

        Eternally grateful, Zion,
a huge lovely and intense shiny light came out of this little box you gifted me -- I’m in awe, I hope everyone enjoy of this amazing story!…

      • avatar Chris says:

Why did that guy die shortly after doing such a good deed, and do you know how he died?

Zion, now that we’re meant to be nearing the time of the final redemption, is the reason for all the chaos and hardship in the world (both on a global and personal scale) due to an accelerated and more intensive ‘cleaning’ process? Thank you.

        • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

I can tell you with certainty that this person was happy to leave this world.
Our lives are about completing the correction of our souls and waiting for the resurrection. Nothing else matters.
As you come closer to finishing your tikkun you won’t care to die. Seek that moment in your life and you achieved true freedom.

The world cleansing process has began. We hope that with more Zohar we will be able to reduce the judgment.

  4. avatar Judith G. says:

This is a very difficult task to think without pictures. My imagination is vividly alive when I study. I believe I understand why you say this though.. a hebrew chant comes to my mind about eating the bread of this world and doing the work of that world. Because I am of Malchut won’t I always see pictures even when I am doing the work of that world?
    Please illuminate my world Zion.
    Blessings and Love, Judith G.

    • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

The description and the teaching of Kabbalah use symbols from our world. It is almost unavoidable to escape the imagination that draws pictures in our mind every moment of the day. Nevertheless we should always remember that what we picture in our mind is our self and limited interpretation of the spiritual forces.
Imagine you speak to unknown person on the phone and he represent himself as Joseph. Usually people connect the name with a person they are familiar with in this world. They may attach a different face to the voice etc. That is the limited way.
Now picture Joseph as the aspect of Yessod. It is the Sefirah that represent the funnel of the Light from the upper levels to this world.

Your question placed you in a great state of consciousness because from now on you will have an automated restriction to physical images when discussing spiritual levels.

Spiritually, a question in not ‘?’ but a vessel that represent desire for the light that is fulfilled with the proper answer. So when we here a person asking a question we can tap into his spiritual essence and understand what he lacks in his life (generally speaking).
When we listen to people’ questions we can learn a lot about them. Observe and listen.

  5. avatar Judith says:

Thank you for the ‘pearls of wisdom’ Zion!

  6. avatar Luis Albanes says:

Dear Zion, I still don t understand what’ s the Shehina… the feminine part of G-d? But He des otra desire to receive?

    • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

I will use a simple example that will help in understanding the male and female aspect if the light. But before that some foundation.
First. The Endless light is one and there are no changes or differences within it.
The Tree if Life is a creation of the endless. The root if the tree is keter and is one with the endless but has two heads (Atik and Arich) with that the light started the linear process of creation and aspect of time. Chokmah is male because it channels the light from Keter and Binah came next with desire for the light but in order to share it. Binah is considered female and also the Shechinah that provide the desire to receive. With that force of desire to receive and share the world was created. In order to receive the light we need desire and the Shechina supports us with that. The two H ה of the YHVH name represent the Malchut and the Shechina.

Now for the simple example. In electricity we need source of energy[+], male, with a stream of power. then we need a receiver [-],female to let the energy flow otherwise each side is in an idle state. What ever we put between the two make the energy flow through it (energized).
The Shechina is the female aspect of everything in nature. It allow us to be energized.
I hope I was clear enough.

Comments policy:

You may only post comments that are not negative in nature. No evil speech, hatred, disrespect or criticism of individuals or groups.
If we focus on negativity, it will grow. If we focus on the Light and positiveness, we can remove darkness from the world. So, we say yes to questions about the article; yes to discussions about Zohar study; and yes to questions about kabbalistic wisdom. If it comes with the desire to share, learn and grow spiritually, it is welcome with Love.
