Pinchas 204-206

Numbers 28:2
“צַו אֶת-בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם: אֶת-קָרְבָּנִי לַחְמִי לְאִשַּׁי, רֵיחַ נִיחֹחִי, תִּשְׁמְרוּ, לְהַקְרִיב לִי בְּמוֹעֲדוֹ. ”
“ Command the children of Israel, and say unto them: My food which is presented unto Me for offerings made by fire, of a sweet savour unto Me, shall ye observe to offer unto Me in its due season. ”

God ‘commands’ the Israelites to bring their offerings in its due time. The priests receive the offering/sacrifices and the fire consumes them.
Rabbi Yehuda reveals to us that the sacrifice has smoke, fragrance and incense, Ketoret.
The three types represent the three columns of Right, Left and Central.

Deuteronomy 29:19
YHVH will not be willing to pardon him, but then the anger (‘smoke’ יֶעְשַׁן) of YHVH and His jealousy shall be kindled against that man, and all the curse that is written in this book shall lie upon him, and YHVH shall blot out his name from under heaven; ”

Smoke is from the left side and the aspect of judgment.

Psalms 18:9
” עָלָה עָשָׁן, בְּאַפּוֹ– וְאֵשׁ-מִפִּיו תֹּאכֵל;
גֶּחָלִים, בָּעֲרוּ מִמֶּנּוּ ”
” Smoke arose up in His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth did devour; coals flamed forth from Him. ”

Negative actions ‘wake up’ the left column and judgment comes down through the nostrils that is the aspect of Zeir Anpin to correct the situation. The purpose of this judgment is to provide remedy to the world by removing the cause of the negativity from the world.
We have a similar system in our body and its purpose is to remove the bad elements, kill them and transform them into something positive. The cause and effect of the spiritual system can also be found in the body.

Job 19:26 “ וּמִבְּשָׂרִי, אֶחֱזֶה אֱלוֹהַּ. ”
“…from my flesh I can see the divine”
Job, who experienced all kinds of judgments, realized the parallels between the spiritual and physical system. Zohar Pinchas reveal many secrets that connect the spiritual system to the body. When we balance the body on the physical and spiritual level we can overcome even health issues related to the Tikkun process.

To remove the negativity, we need to connect the mercy of the right column with the left to ‘sweeten’ the judgment by balancing the energies of the right and the left.

To protect our soul and body from negativity we need daily connection to the right column. Even if we do not get involved in any negativity, the world around us does. We are on the same boat and we can not ignore the negativity of others. We should never think just about ourselves.
When we think about keeping our body healthy and strong for a long time or forevermore, we need to think about the world around us. We are one body spiritually and physically. The rest is illusion.

The first verse above is a command that God gave in order to help us overcome the negativity. By having regular connections to the right column (Zohar study, schedule prayers and meditations, Sharing, Tithing) we remove judgments. The priests in the Holy Temple used to burn incense, קטורת ‘Ketoret’ every day to connect the right with the left, to remove negativity. The literal meaning of Ketoret is ‘putting a knot’ as in tying two things together.

Rabbi Shimon recommends reciting the ‘Pitum Haketoret’ that is the description of the work of the priest in burning the incense, twice daily to remove the aspect of death from our lives.
