Pinchas 386-388
Continued from previous dz

Rabbi Pinchas, Rabbi Chiah and Rabbi Yitzchak continued on their way and while they were walking, the Great Eagle הנשר הגדול came and surrounded their heads and hovered above. Rabbi Pinchas said that it is certainly a time of good will and the gates of mercy opened for the sick people where they were and it’s time for their healing. Even though they became sick because of a Tikun process, the appearance of the Eagle marks a time of Mercy.

“As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, hovereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her pinions– ”

It was a morning time and Rabbi Pinchas quotes this verse that describes the mercy of God. Like the Eagle spread his wings over his small ones protecting them so does God, to protect us.

Psalms 5:4
“יְהוָה–בֹּקֶר, תִּשְׁמַע קוֹלִי; בֹּקֶר אֶעֱרָךְ-לְךָ, וַאֲצַפֶּה. ”
YHVH, in the morning shalt Thou hear my voice; in the morning will I order my prayer unto Thee, and will look forward.”

When the morning breaks, the Light of Chassadim is revealed in the world by the merit of Abraham.

After midnight the light begins its process of building up. It is the best time to start a Zohar study and meditate to send healing to others. Synching our mediation and prayers with the flow of energy of the day will maximize on drawing light and manifesting it. Some communities start the morning prayers late on Shabbat and it maybe convenient to most people but we lose most of the available light of Chassadim. I suggest making the initial morning connection early at home, especially the 18 morning blessings, Patach Eliyahu, Shema Yisrael and some Zohar that is related to the weekly portion or Tikunei Zohar.

The Great Eagle is the aspect of the central column that we can connect to with our prayers. It came to the sages of the Zohar after they revealed the morning light with their study and connection. It can also come to us when we do the same.
