Notes: The commentary below is mixed with symbols that I kept closer to the original text to ‘train’ the reader in understanding Zohar ‘codes’. The Zohar article about the ‘Hind of the Dawn’ that spreads over several DZ studies teaches us a lot about Revelation of light and many aspect of it.

When the people in the lower world involve with negativity and impurities they disconnect themselves from the light. The result is lack of light and desire for fulfillment and mercy. The Shechina goes for the Light of Chokmah and ‘cries’ because of the judgments in the world. She seeks ‘water’.

Psalms 42:2 (This Psalms chapter is a good reading to awaken the soul to the light)
“כְּאַיָּל, תַּעֲרֹג עַל-אֲפִיקֵי-מָיִם ”
“As the hart panteth after the water brooks ”

The Holy One, Bless be He opens channels of light of Chassadim that feeds Malchut.

+=+=+
When Malchut becomes ‘pregnant’ with the souls of the righteous she receives Light from Zeir Anpin into her desiring vessel. Because of the awakened desires the left column takes control and the vessel is sealed. When it’s time to deliver, the soul wants to come out but the vessel is still closed. She raises her voice with seventy cries (voices) of pain. That connects her to Chokmah of the Left column.

The seventy voices are in the secret of Psalms 20. It has 70 words and it is used to awaken light of mercy and purification.
“יַעַנְךָ יְהוָה, בְּיוֹם צָרָה ”
YHVH answer thee in the day of trouble; ”

Psalms 20 is good to ease up a woman’s delivery process. The husband should stand on his wife’s right side, facing her. He should not see the actual delivery because of the judgments revealed at the ‘opening’. When he recites Psalms 20 repeatedly he draws light of mercy. Other people who care for the woman can do the same meditation for her.

When she is in pain, the Holy One, Bless be He, is next to her. He brings a snake to ‘bite’ at the opening breaking the ‘curtain’. This is the first step that releases judgment and draws blood to satisfy the other side. The next ‘bite’ is to release the lights related to the Tikkun process and water comes out from the vessel. It is the aspect of the central column that brings light to the lower levels.

The Zohar connects this secret to Moses and the way he brought water for the people.

Number 20:11
“וַיָּרֶם מֹשֶׁה אֶת-יָדוֹ, וַיַּךְ אֶת-הַסֶּלַע בְּמַטֵּהוּ–פַּעֲמָיִם; וַיֵּצְאוּ מַיִם רַבִּים, וַתֵּשְׁתְּ הָעֵדָה וּבְעִירָם. ”
“And Moses lifted up his hand, and smote the rock with his rod twice; and water came forth abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their cattle.”

The next DZ I will expand the explanation on the ‘codes’ revealed here and the connection to the Final Redemption.
