Zohar Shelach Lecha

When the 10 of the twelve spies came back with the bad news, Caleb, who was one of the 12, tried to silence them and said that it was not true. He suggested entering the Land immediately and possessing it. Unfortunately, the people didn’t listen to him and Joshua. They went to Moses and complained (Numbers 14:2) “וַיִּלֹּנוּ עַל-מֹשֶׁה וְעַל-אַהֲרֹן, כֹּל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל ; וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֲלֵהֶם כָּל-הָעֵדָה, לוּ-מַתְנוּ בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם, אוֹ בַּמִּדְבָּר הַזֶּה, לוּ-מָתְנוּ”. They used these words twice :” If only we had died” “לוּ-מַתְנוּ”. In (Numbers 14:4) “they said one to another: ’Let us choose a leader, and let us return into Egypt’”.

That day was the Ninth of Av, which is the most negative day in the history of the nation of Israel. The two Holy Temples were destroyed by foreign powers. The Spanish Inquisition started the program to kill or convert Jews. Hitler revealed his ‘Final Solution’ to annihilate the Jews on that day. We better not to look for more examples of negativity that happened on that day..
Moses and Aaron fell on their faces and Caleb and Joshua tore their clothes. They realized what happened and what was going to happen.

The first sin of the Snake and Eve started with evil tongue and God never forgave this one. They had to pay one year for every day they were inside Israel. The whole generation had to die in the wilderness before having the second opportunity to come back to the Promised Land. Because they were leaders of the people, the effect of their action was deep and created “בכיה-לדורות” “Depression for generations to come”.

Today we see many leaders that are motivated by their personal agenda. They will use evil tongue to be elected and lead people to their death with lies; they make wars for no other reason other than satisfying their own agenda. They talk about peace but send soldiers to die for unjustified causes.

The Great Rabbi Ashlag, of blessed memory, “Baal Hasulam” commented on Communism of community and sharing resources, but they would not hold for more than 70 years because they were not connected or involved with the Light in their action.
He passed away before seeing how right and accurate he was. He didn’t even need a proof. It is a law of nature.
Many leaders believe that their ways is the just ways and if they get more people to support their cause then they can bring the world to a new world order. Decades of wars and pointless peace talks brought nothing but more bloodshed and separation. It is true especially in Israel that is the aspect of Keter of the world.
It’s true about leaders of nations and true for community leaders, including Kabbalah and other religious organizations. No leader can gather enough people under their flags to create a unified world. The average person is selfish and a slave to their material desires and comfort. It is stupid to think that individuals, flesh and blood leaders can bring the people to the ‘Promised Land’.

The only possible way is through spiritual unity when the material domain is not threatened. As organizations grow they create greater friction between the different layers of the organization. Politics and money corrupt them all.

When people understand that only the Creator can balance everything and connect to him through spiritual channels then a positive change can happen. Until then, selfish leaders, stupidity, and chaos rein.
The closest answer to spiritual unity is when we use the Unity Zohar on UnityZohar.com.
