Zohar Ki Tetze

Deuteronomy 22:17
“and behold, he has charged her with shameful deeds, saying, “I did not find your daughter a virgin.” But this is the evidence of my daughter’s virginity.’ And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.”

The Torah speaks about a man that married a woman then came to the father and claimed that she was not a virgin. The father then takes the garment of his daughter, shows it to the elders of the town so they can pass their judgment.

The Zohar teaches us that the Torah is the aspect of the daughter because the first and last letters of the first word of the Torah “בראשית” spell בת, that means daughter. The middle letters spell ‘ראשי’, meaning ‘my head’. The Torah came from the upper three sefirot through Binah.
Moses is the ‘bridegroom’ of the Torah and because of the sin of the Golden Calf the Tablets broke and that is the aspect of losing the virginity of the Torah.

God then asked Moses to create new tablets like the first ones.
Exodus 34:1
YHVH said to Moses, “Cut for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.”
The first tablets were called “tables of the testimony” and the second tablets “tablets of stones”. God did state that he will write on the second tablets the same words that were on the first tablets.

There is no reason to doubt the second Torah as not pure as the first one. Spreading the garment of the bride to check for her virginity is the aspect of spreading out the Torah scroll to reveal the Light that existed in the first Torah.

The Zohar taught us that the first Torah had freedom in it and the second one is about work and the Tikkun process.

The lesson here is that the second Torah has the same Light as the first one but we need to open it and study it in order to reveal the Light of freedom and end of the Tikkun.
The Final Redemption will reveal the third Holy Temple that will come down to earth with a new Torah that will reveal Light without restriction.

Until then we need to keep our efforts and earn the merit to be at that time.
