Zohar Ki Tetze

Continued from previous DZ

Moses, the ‘Faithful Shepherd’, rose, kissed Elijah on his face and eyes, and blessed him, saying “may you be blessed from the mouth of the Holy One Blessed be He and the Shechinah, in every measure and level, with the ten Sefirot, all of the holy names and with the names of all the heads of the study halls above, and all the angels. Everyone answered, saying Amen. The Holy One Blessed be He and the Shechinah also supported the blessings Moses gave Elijah.

Moses asked Elijah to rise and open his mouth with more revelations of Light. He told Elijah that he is his helper from all directions. It said (Numbers 25:11) “פִּינְחָס בֶּן-אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן-אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן” “”Pinchas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest”.
Elijah is Pinchas, the son of Aaron, who was Moses’s brother and it also says in Proverbs 17:17 “וְאָח לְצָרָה, יִוָּלֵד.” ”and a brother is born to help in time of need”.
Moses connected Elijah to his roots for stronger connection and to reveal greater Light through Rabbi Shimon and the Zohar.

Moses opened the study of the portion of Ki Tetze and in fact he and Elijah and Rabbi Shimon that was named through the entire portion as the ‘בּוּצִינָא קַדִישָׁא’ ‘Holy Candle’, were revealing Torah secrets. This is an indication to the high level of Ki Tetze.

Revealing the secrets of the Torah is like opening channels of Light to the world. When Moses kissed and blessed Elijah he created a wider channel by including and inviting all of those who supported the study. When all answered Amen they formed the channel that is available to us today and when we study the Zohar.

Kabbalah study is not just about becoming a good selfless sharing person, it’s about creating new channels of Light for the entire world. Helping and sharing with a friend benefit two and maybe few more people but revealing Torah Light through the study of Zohar is on a higher sharing level. It’s anonymous and benefits the entire world. Our vessel becomes connected to the world vessel and supports it.
