Zohar Ki Tisa

Continued from previous DZ

God brought the Israelites to the Promised Land but after the death of Joshua, they left the righteous path and lost the protection of God.

Judges 2:14
“So the anger of YHVH was kindled against Israel, and he gave them over to plunderers, who plundered them. And he sold them into the hand of their surrounding enemies, so that they could no longer withstand their enemies”

The anger of God is the aspect of the effect caused by the spiritual system when we disconnect ourselves from the Light of YHVH.
Without the Light, the Israelites are weak and their enemies can hurt them. They scattered all over the world, losing the strong connection to the Holy Land, because it was desecrated by nations that took control over it.

We learned before that God didn’t let Moses enter the land of Israel because they needed to continue with the process of earning the Final Redemption. Moses had constant connection with the Light and if he were to enter the Land he would bring the end of correction and Mashaich.

Joshua conquered the Holy Land from the nations that represented the Klipot. They could get hold of the Land because the Israelites went down to Egypt to build their strength and growth as people of the Torah.

After Joshua, no one could take leadership and the people lost the path, bringing chaos onto themselves.

We need strong leaders to follow but unfortunately all leaders, on different levels, are under the control of the Klipot and the world is in chaos. It’s true for heads of governments, big corporations and different religious groups of all faiths. The ‘gravity’ of the ego and the desire for the self of the leader separates him from the people he is supposed to lead and care for. Religious leaders and groups of spiritual teachings including Kabbalah also suffer from the same influence of klipot. The simple fact is that even if they have unity between the members of the group, they keep their own identity. Most of the righteous leaders left us in recent years, There are few righteous left but they won’t try to lead big organizations because money corrupts. From time to time we hear about rabbis who disappear because of corruption, another one went to jail and others didn’t get caught yet.

Leaders seek power and influence. Leaders of government will send soldiers to death because of stupid reasons. Organization leaders want the others to join them because they have better message, teachings or whatever else. If you put them on the same street one door next to the other, you may see wars developing quickly even if they say, “There’s only one God”,“God is love”, “God is unity” etc. It’s true about God but the people are still far from true unity with their fellow man, because when they put themselves as leaders, they naturally express some level of ego.

The Daily Zohar is not an organization and that is why we have students from all religious and spiritual organizations. They choose Rabbi Shimon and the Zohar as their teacher and leaders. That is why the Daily Zohar and Unity Zohar are important in unifying everyone under the teaching of the Zohar and not a person.
