Zohar Vayetze

The Zohar explains the ‘White Head’, ‘Atika Kadisha’, which is the inner Light of Keter. ‘White’ is the the aspect of pure light and ‘head’ means the top or the first. Three letters are introduced from the ‘head’ to the process of Creation and they are Alef א, Yod י, and Nun ן. They are pronounced ‘ayin’ means ‘nothing’ as in ‘Ein Sof’, ‘Endless’.
Job 28:12 “וְהַחָכְמָה, מֵאַיִן תִּמָּצֵא;” “And Wisdom (Chokmah) shall be found from אַיִן (Alef, Yod, Nun)”.

Alef is the concealed source, which is the head of Arich Anpin, the outer aspect of Keter.
Yod is the will of the Creator to create the worlds for us. It was risen from the concealed head above and came down in the form of 32 paths that formed the worlds. They are connected to the letter Nun that is the aspect of Male and Female, Light and Vessel, Zeir Anpin and Nukva, Malchut.

The letter Nun was made to have two forms נ and ן (final nun). The final Nun ן has a straight line and the other Nun נ is bent, The Yod expressed the will of the Creator and continued the paths of Lights into letters and the lower levels, creating vessels (letters) with connections of Light between them (words) until it reached the bent letter Nun נ (revealed Light in the vessel). The letter Nun נ is called Beer Sheva, meaning ‘well of seven’. Seven is the distance between the source of Light and Malchut.

Genesis 28:10
“וַיֵּצֵא יַעֲקֹב, מִבְּאֵר שָׁבַע; וַיֵּלֶךְ, חָרָנָה.”
“And Jacob went out from Beer-sheva, and went toward Haran.”

Haran is the aspect of Judgment and Malchut. Jacob is the central column that connects to the source of Light and brings nourishments to Malchut, which is the lower ‘well’ which is dry without connection to the source of Light.

The Endless Light formed for us letters to express the Light in this world. The letters are channels of Light coming down from the seed of the letter Alef that represents Keter.
The letters are vessels until they are expressed with vibrations (Nikud, תנועות) revealing their Light in Malchut. That is why the process of Creation is started with the action of ‘saying’. (Genesis 1:3) “And God said…”
Our ‘real’ world is the Hebrew letters and everything else is part of the illusion that we are placed in to sort out the ‘good’ from the ‘bad’. We can do that on a deeper level only with connection to the Hebrew letters. Other languages can have better shapes and or rich expressions but they communicate only of the lower level. The consciousness is the only thing that can elevate a pure person’s prayer to a higher level but the Hebrew letters are true and real tools for spiritual connections. The word ‘truth’ in Hebrew is אמת. It contains the first letter, the middle and the last letters of the Hebrew Alef Bet.
