Zohar Vayetze

Genesis 28:10
“וַיֵּצֵא יַעֲקֹב, מִבְּאֵר שָׁבַע; וַיֵּלֶךְ, חָרָנָה”
“Jacob left Beersheba and went toward Haran.”

The Zohar explains that Jacob left Beersheba to get married. On his way he found the place of the Shechina and lay down in that place.
The place was the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where the future Temple will be built.

Genesis 28:11
“וַיִּפְגַּע בַּמָּקוֹם וַיָּלֶן שָׁם, כִּי-בָא הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ, וַיִּקַּח מֵאַבְנֵי הַמָּקוֹם, וַיָּשֶׂם מְרַאֲשֹׁתָיו; וַיִּשְׁכַּב, בַּמָּקוֹם הַהוּא”
“He came to a certain place and spent the night there, because the sun had set; and he took one of the stones of the place and put it under his head, and lay down in that place.”

After God separated Eve from Adam he brought her to him. The Torah adds the following verse, which is an explanation to the effect of separating Eve from Adam.

Genesis 2:24
“עַל-כֵּן, יַעֲזָב-אִישׁ, אֶת-אָבִיו, וְאֶת-אִמּוֹ; וְדָבַק בְּאִשְׁתּוֹ, וְהָיוּ לְבָשָׂר אֶחָד”
“For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.”

The Endless Light is one and in the process of Creation there was a need to create vessel in order to have a process of giving and receiving. Adam was created with Eve as part of him because the Creator, Blessed be He doesn’t create separation. Only after after Adam came to existence, Eve could be separated from him and for the purpose of seeking the original oneness through unification.

That is the aspect of ‘become one flesh’. In the material world we connect spiritually using the corporeal body.

Lamentation 1:3 “Judah has gone into exile ”
Lamentation 1:6 “All her majesty Has departed from the daughter of Zion;”

The purpose of the exile was for us to desire and work harder to go back and be one with the Holy One Blessed be He, the Endless Light.

Judah, Yehudah, יהודה, is the tribe settled around Jerusalem. The name Yehudah contains the YHVH name with the additional letter ד, Dalet. The ‘Daughter of Zion’ is the female aspect of the Endless Light in this world. The Endless Light formed YHVH to ‘govern’ Creation, (aspect of Adam) and the Shechinah of the name, (aspect of Eve) was separated so we can seek oneness with the Endless Light through the unification of the Shechinah and the Light, Zeir Anpin (YHVH).
We can achieve that oneness only though the study Torah, Zohar, and following the precepts. The prayers in Hebrew help us in the process of unifying all the souls of the children of Israel with YHVH and the Endless Light, completing the mission Jacob took on himself.

Zionism is the movement to return to Zion, which is Jerusalem. The deeper meaning of true Zionism is seeking to unify the Light, coming from Zion (Spiritual, Light) and Jerusalem (Malchut, Shechina).

When we restore the 90% of the unification, Mashiach will come to complete the work and allow the Light of the Endless flow down to our world through the complete name of YHVH that will be changed to YHYH because the Light and Vessel will be unified and equal.
