Tikkun 30 – 19
When the Shechina is on the way up to Binah, sixteen channels of light are opened up.
Gates, Seals, questions, answers, future holders, visions, hearing, smelling, face revealing, sounds, speaking, heat flames, hands, height of the throne, sign of the covenant and legs.
The name of God YHVH has two parts, YH for the Keter, Chokmah and Binah, which are beyond our levels. The other part is VH, which represents Zeir Anpin and Malchut.
The Shechinah is the pure aspect of the H of Malchut and the V is the light that we connect to and open the central column for the Shechina to ascend to the Binah and Chokmah.
The sixteen channels represent the Y and V , which are the male aspects of the YHVH name. The Y brings the light to Binah and the V to Malchut. The H of Binah and the H of Malchut as the aspects of the Shechina, are the levels that bring the energy of life to the whole existence.
When we do pure spiritual connections, meaning without the ‘gravity’ of the selfish desires, we elevate ourselves and with that we activate and open channels of light that give us abilities to see and feel beyond the illusion of the five senses.

Rodesh tov
May the Light shine
a beautifull year
full of Bliss
Ascending into the channels of light
Moses called all of Israel and said to them: ‘Hear, O Israel, the decrees and the ordinances that I speak in your ears today — learn them, and be careful to perform them. The Lord your God sealed a covenant with us at Horev [Mount Sinai]. Not with our forefathers did God seal this covenant, but with us — we who are here, all of us alive today. Face to face did God speak with you on the mountain from amid the fire.’ (Deut. 5:1-4).
(G-D descended from the heavenly spheres to meet with the people. He called out to Moshe to ascend the mountain and then ADONAI conferred with Moshe in great detail and for many days. Moshe neither thirsted or hungered for G-D took great care of him right there where they met. Moshe put his full trust and faith into G-D. His belief was that strong. Moshe was fully committed to G-D.
Our channels of light are prayers of praise, prayers of gratitude and being still and knowing that “‘I AM G-D.”‘
Why do you call what we perceive with our physical senses an illusion? Surely, the physical world is a concrete reality even if there are things which we can’t see with our physical eyes.

Torah Portion of this Week
Metzorah
B’H’
The Torah continues in Parsha Metzorah with the laws of physical and spiritual purity. The focus of this portion is still upon tzara’as, the supernatural physical affliction sent to warn someone to refrain from speaking badly about others. The disease progressively afflicted home, clothes and then one’s skin -- unless the individual corrected his ways and followed the purification process stated in the Torah.
TODAY’S WORD from Jeffrey
So important does the Torah consider “Purity” that it emphasizes how “Impurity” permeates a person’s entire being.
A GIFT FOR YOU
In the memory of my teacher the Late Rebbe Reb Shlomo Carlebach, I will share with you one of his Torah Learning Stories. A story relating to this subject.
First I must tell you that to attend Reb Shlomo’s Tish = Table on Friday night was like being transported back 200 years. His stories were interspersed with all of us singing Shlomo’s ‘Nigunim = melodies with no words just La, la, la’d. Eating healthy food and drinking wine till 2:00 A.M.
HERE IT IS
“Do not defile yourselves… for it will make you spiritually insensitive. For I am G-d your L-rd, and since I am holy, you must [likewise] make yourselves holy, and remain sanctified!”
Surrounded by his Chassidim, Reb Chaim of Sanz sat at his table, passing out Sherai’im = leftovers from his food, as is the custom among the Chassidim. One particular Jew, who had abandoned the faith of his fathers, sat among his Chassidim. Reb Chaim passed out Sherai’im to everyone, including this non-religious Jew.
He accepted the leftovers politely. In his heart, flooded with disbelief and cynicism, he scorned this Chassidic custom, but ate the Sherai’im anyway. Afterwards, he returned home.
The next day, he sat down, hungry, ready to eat. To his amazement, he simply could not eat. He strived to eat, with all his might, but he simply could not swallow any food. All day, against his will, he could not eat!
This same problem plagued him the next day, as he just couldn’t eat, no matter how hard he tried! Starving and weak, he summoned his doctor. His doctor, unfortunately, could not diagnose his problem. “But doctor, why can’t I eat? I simply can’t, but why?”
Utterly distraught, he sought the help of other medical experts, all to no avail. So he thought, “When did this problem begin… Hmm -- Ah, after I ate the Rebbe’s leftovers. Surely, the cause of my sickness is the Rebbe’s leftovers… it must have been tainted.”
After informing his wife, they went immediately to Reb Chaim of Sanz, complaining of the problem. Smiling, the Rebbe heard their complaints, and responded, “No, no. You are not sick.” The Rebbe turned to his Chassidim, and asked for refreshments.
The Chassidim promptly brought refreshments, from the kitchen, and presented them to the Rebbe, who said, “Here, eat!” The starving, non-religious Jew devoured the refreshments after starving for nearly two days. He didn’t even leave a crumb.
He realized, later, that his “sickness” entailed a sanctification of his inner organs, caused by eating the Rebbe’s leftovers, the Sherai’im. Thus, his body would simply not accept forbidden, impure food. When he returned to his house, he koshered all the utensils, eradicated all impure, forbidden food from his house, and, from that day on, only ate food strictly kosher from kosher vessels and utensils. Not only that, but he returned to his heritage, the faith of his fathers, and became an enthusiastic, devoted Chassid of Reb Chaim of Sanz.
HAVE A GUTN SHABBOS = YIDDISH = A GOOD SHABBOS
My Blessing for you today is that you should find your way to your own Purity; Level by level, and from strength to strength.
