Tikkun 70-1
בְּרֵאשִׁית, “In the Beginning”, the first word of the Torah with 6 letters that represent the entire creation. The Zohar in this last section of Tikkunei Zohar reveals to us that it is also a reference to the archangel Metatron.
Genesis 4:17
“וַיֵּדַע קַיִן אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ, וַתַּהַר וַתֵּלֶד אֶת-חֲנוֹךְ ”
“And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bore Chanoch”
Genesis 5:18
“וַיְחִי-יֶרֶד, שְׁתַּיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים שָׁנָה וּמְאַת שָׁנָה; וַיּוֹלֶד, אֶת-חֲנוֹךְ ”
“And Jared lived a hundred sixty and two years, and begot Chanoch”
(The name Chanoch , חֲנוֹךְ, is translated in most English translation as Enoch.
Please remember that ALL languages in the world are systems of communication. A translated Bible, reduces its value to a simple story told from one person to another. Always read or scan the Torah verses quoted in the commentaries. There is ONLY one Hebrew source of the Bible and dozens in many other languages. Some of them were translated from the English version, not the Hebrew.)
The first Chanoch, came from the seed of Cain and was only negative. The second Chanoch came from the line of Seth and was only positive.
Like the way Earth completes a circle around the sun in 365 days, Chanoch followed the ways of YHVH for 365 years. For that dedication he was taken to serve God as archangel and was given the name of מטטרו”ן, Metatron. He ascended to heavens in a flame of fire like Elijah the prophet.
We should not speak out names of angels. In this case we can say ‘angel Metat’ instead of the full name.
The numerical value of the name is 314, same as שדי, whch is the name of God that we put on the Mezuzah at the door post to protect from negativity entering our dweling place. It is same as the mathematical number of Pi, 3.14, that is related to the circle, a number that never ends and never repeats!
The closest number to it is 22/7 that represents the energy cycle of the week with the 22 letters of the Hebrew Alef-Bet that propels everything in Creation.
Metatron is the most important angel when we want to have our prayers answered. He came from the finite world to the endless and is the one that processes the prayers before letting them pass to higher levels.
Keep your prayers and consciousness pure and follow the ways of God, even if it takes 365 years (Several life times).

Thank you for your important comment. What are the implications, when pronouncing the names of angels. I thought if the angel is not from the negative side, it might be ok? Also, what about the more common names like Raphael, Michael etc.is this a problem as well?

if this would be said to the one as i am considering myself would think this is hipocriy or no love in it.
So the world should be divided in elite teachers who do all the efforts to preserve some state of higher respect that is closed? Another aspect is : Zion is studying. He asked the whole world community to join to show him ,where he could be wrong, where he could be better where he can invest more effort and step into another uncomfort zone to not stuck in close circle. Zion I gues is doing well just because able to accept the so called negative opinions, deep thoughts. Probably there is also some another secret message in Torah about tikkun. That compassion is more important and by showing oneself some superior, some beatifull, as the cover under the wisdom respect could be the form of not loving the person. Why teacher is loving his listeners ? Because they are robust, someone would say innocent, someone would say gentiles, someone would say unacceptable someone would say seeds of evil , someone would say good soul BUT, someone would say not refined, uncultivated. But their questions, comments, teachings are very valuable. It could that teachers would like to divide themselves to preserve comfort zones where they can the possesions they desserved in the past keep for themselves in their circle -- so no need for any further change -- for the rest of the Life. Fear, not having the certainty when exposed to the whole widen community. It could that Zion is doing well because he is in the growth because not attaching to the teachers role and open new paradigma needed for this chaos: I need your help people. I have something to tell you. Please help me in my growth. And wellcome to my circle where I can share what I am earning but please help in my growth. He did not ask just local community, close himself just where he can be worshipped or just accepted as the member of community. He exposed himself and invited where he can show his courage. And if the symbol teacher should get new meaning maybe this could be the concept.

I am a bit new to the Zohar study so could someone please let me know why we shouldn’t say the names of angels?

I am working on a video to explain the power of the Hebrew and the sacred text.
In general you should know that everything that comes out of our mouth forms a connection between this world and the upper. Using a sacred name connects our words to that energy and if not with the right purpose then it create a vessel for light that the negative side grabs.
We have the commandment of “Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain;” to tell us the God’s energy is available but we must use it for a good purpose. The YHVH name is out of our reach. Only the High Priest in the Holy Temple on Yom Kippur could use the name to draw light for the whole world.
Read DZ articles related to ‘Vapor’ it will give you additional understanding.
Zion in one of your previous e-mails I remember you saying that a moment of anger can cause an additional soul which you may have received to depart and leave you.

I miss your chanting Zion, I do like the new music though.
I received mixed review about my chanting. My voice is not always in good shape so it is hard and for some good listeners it doesn’t work.
The best way to elevate the Zohar reading was to add music in the background.
Another reason is that I wish to compile Zohar reading into MP3 album for people to download (FREE) to their pda/players to have it ‘handy’ for immediate Zohar connection of the go.
Pray that I will have the time and resources to complete this task.

On a different note imagine Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and all the other great tzadikim from the past involved in the holy Zohar knew what our generation would be capable of; like downloading the reading onto MP3 player, email etc.. I think they would be very impressed or maybe they knew the futute and therefore chose our generation for the revelation of the the holy text.
