The Zohar teaches us that the eye represents a complete world. It is round and the pupil and the iris are circular. The pupil is the middle point of the eye and it represents Zion. Zion is the name of the spiritual point that is the aspect of Yessod of Malchut that is above The Holy Temple, which is the aspect of Malchut.
The Holy Temple is the middle point of Creation and in it is the Drinking Stone from which the whole world was Created.
The negative side, ‘Sitra Achra’, has strong hold on the eyes. It is the gate of the soul to the physical world and negativity is always at the gates.
People without the proper consciousness can channel the force of negativity through their eyes. This is known as the ‘Evil Eye’.

Proportional eyes that sit properly in place with clear and clean colors indicate a good, honest person.

The literal meaning of the Zohar is
“And there are eyes (from the other side) that the Primordial Snake (the Sam-el). They doesn’t look ‘straight’ (positively). Everything it set the eyes on, it cause harm to it…”

One daily life question. Grateful for every hint or reference or direction for further survey.
There are many situations in Daily Life when people with different intentions look at the eyes one another. There are situations of persons, who stop on your eyes without any reason or vice-versa. Maybe even the one is stopping on another’s one eye.
What are the influences in those focused views and possible consequences for spiritual path. What exactly is happening during such eye detailed scanning of someone if another one is not prepared and is not consioussed of possible negativities ? What does mean to set up the protection on such deep looks? How to differentiate looks that are unselfish and have no spiritual influence intention or looks that are just message for dialogue, for other one to whish the best for him? How to recognize the looks that the consiousness of that person could have effect that longtermly has negative value but the vulnerable person is not aware of it? Does such thinking has sense.
In one company I heard the sentence of one manager : WITH US WILL STAY THOSE that have same energy as we do? Does this sentence manifests how to feel each other’s eyes ? Should we always avoid someone scanning our eyes during view and how in this case express or preserve the need for deep contacts?
Raising consiousness and work on inner negativities ( repentance, consiousness, confronting with shells- Klippah ) are those the path of being relaxed and free of any scruples during eye contacts even there are circumstances someone is deeply scanning your eyes.
Sorry for unclarity in question but thinking about situations in the past where eyes were scanned deeply with some strange view and relating with circumstances later appeared.

To be honest I felt unsecure when expressing those questions and uncertainty. Not sure if I should feel ashamed or am I exaggarating or try to avoid my responsibility for the various cirmustances.
Those circumstances appeared when felt unprepared or not awaring of the backgrounds and other influences when fell into those circumstances.
But now after DZ study aware of the fact that circumstances appear because of seeds of negativity deep inside. And when consiousness is expanding to recognize negativities than confronting with mirrors in daily life is fair ( stupid word I know but I can’t find the better one ). Lesson has meaning, … know when to let it go, when to stay on position of inner varrior and avoid non stop run away as victim.

Two things come to mind. First one should not judge a book by its cover, any person has the ability to cheat regardless of his or her eye position. ( don’t judge a book by its cover). Second is that there is a lot of energy in the eyes. I am a martial artists and know for a fact that most fights are won before a punch is thrown. The victory is known whith the look in the fighters eyes. ( eye of the tiger). Every time we look into some ones eyes we transfer energy be it aggression, flirtation or sympathy.

Zion, I have a question too, I have always looked directly into ones eyes when I spoke (speak) with them, Is this not a good thing? In hindsight, I now know it was not always for good.. sometimes it was my evil inclination of ego that perhaps was trying to manipulate or show some sort of arrogance… how can I make sure I do not do this to another (steal their energy or cast an evil eye onto them)? How can I stop this negative action? Perhaps I am one step closer now, with all the guidance of the DZ opening my eyes (LOL excuse the pun) to my weaknesses and giving me the strength to push aside the evil (negative side) inclination with good things…like perhaps, if I find myself looking in ones eyes and it is for my own self gain -maybe I can think the Shema prayer in my mind or a Psalm to stop the negative thought I may be passing on. If you all have any other ideas I would love to hear all thoughts.

Relevant observation and excellent standpoint.
Guess it is not so much about judgements. It is more about to build the vessel in the oneself so there is no need for such questions. Part of the building such vessel in one guess is also to explain some experiences in the past not to worry about similar patterns in the future. If there were such second thoughts exposed to someone’s look that could be not for the best benefit and spiritual influence that changed his spiritual path. It is good to know that there could be the posture of such person where he can be free if person build vessel and inner protection without judgements. If we talk about two sources of person’s action ( Light and another negative side ) than this driving to the perception there could be subconsiouss behaviour of the one that have limited and selfish goals or manipulations. Why to expose weaknesses because in the one belived or have trust or not even think about that this is possible and then his life changes. And why questions if we can focus on inner direction and avoiding such looks ( would that be called evil eye ) could save a lot of bad time or at least words, gossips, or other forms of manipulations from others.

I noticed that a lot of people have or a bigger left eye or a bigger right. Could that mean that the persons with a bigger left eye have more chance to transmit negativity because of the left side? or can this imperfection be corrected with the practice of mitzvot and eventually erase physically the difference in the size of the eyes?
Thanks Zion all was great to read, I found the Kosher Steak read so full of wisdom, and I was glad I was able to understand it. Many times I do not understand a lot of ‘deep’ wisdom shared in Kabbalah, but I am always glad for the light I receive from it.

This dissertation brings to mind ‘reflections in a golden eye.’ The ‘eye of the cat.’ A cat as tawny as the dawn and a cat as white as the moon. I see a boundary not to enter unless one has been given the permission to do exactly that. ‘A little learning is a dangerous thing, drink deep or taste not the eternal spring.’
The concept of EVIL EYE, fiery look, …the consequences of leaving the oneself to such look. We talked about garments, shells. Imagining this like crest or scared crest around some pure entity ( heart, around the entity represented with soul’s level ). The depth of that crest is linear with the ability of the masquearding pain, consequences of the chaos in Life with invitations to fall , to join to that for the one with thinner crest ( less pain, preserve sensibility, preserving weaknesses ).
Constant fight against oneself ( there is phrase fight against deamons inside ) and be in constant pain and darkness why, how, how come when I always tried the best, do the best, honest, … Remembering Zion’s thought “poor person is dead person”. Reading that as he is not able to put in another’s one shoes, having open space for put himself in shoes of the other one. On the other side, the other one is in the 5 senses reality of the one just to serve him as the mirror. Mirror of what. But if the one is under the constant pressure of the energy below the scared crest, it is impossible to re-program five senses to reprogram in the perception.
So the question here that appeares:
When that evil eye is anger. And when that anger is not anger but cry of some entity below that scared crest. We know when we cut ourselves and there is scab after the cutting. This scab could be still very sensitive ( you can’t press on it, you can’t work as you could do before , you have to relocate the previous functionality to other part of the body ) but on the other way that scab as unpleasant look. To see that body or person as beatifull that person have to radiate with other more wholistic sources of the kidness, beauty, warmness and that scab become even the symbol of beauty like some ornament like decoration of the warrior for beauty, for purity.
Ok so from this point we have anger that to someone with proper vessel could be as crying, as plead for help, as invitation to transform the war with outide to inner war
( inner war -- invite Him-Blessed be his name, to accept the burden and during this process of leaving or giving to Him- Blessed be his name -- fighting, growing … ).
During this process look from the eyes could express that war. Eyes can still invite others to that war -- someone more subtle, not awaring of the consequences, someone’s purity is used. How come the one is not protected, righteous paths ? Lessons, inner deep negativities, that scared crest even is thinner or there is already process of healing started but still some tests and judgements need to be done.?
Or there is need for the transformation, to leave the background/scene because the soul is already somewhere else and as final steps of transformations there are last but still very intensive battles.
So Erev Rav imagining as something that needs anchor ( like parasite on the host -- host has to have entry point for the parasite ) in me or in the one. The result of that cohabiting is that evil eye that masquerades anger ( scared crest ) which is presentation of the cry.
If this battle is happening to someone with limited influence on people this war is limited. Guess this person is blessed although that person is lonely or even more in anger, pain but have spiritual opportunities but lack in material or emotional support because those would obstruct him on the healing process. But if this battle is happening o the wider level, that person is able to masquerade that battle into the battle of the community ( group of people around that person ) whole community is involved in healing of that person. The interactions , battles , confrontations, …community is challenged whether to spread this virus even more on other community or find for the negativties in the community …slow donw the daily Life and take the spiritual vacation of the community to return to the roots, to the seeds of the community and open the box.
The question here is: could it go other way, we all are the persons that we do not abuse the community for our battles but through spiritual work and support make own war and have peace with the community and this way to contribute to the community to be the vessel for pure ideas, pure creativity, genius of the community so that comunity contribute to the nature’s enrichment ( glorifying His name, plants animals human coexistence ) and be opened to other communties or members of other community so that no war between communities is necessary. The exchange is based on the principle of Copenhagen’s breakfast -- capital of the Danmark , idea of some event 30 years ago where people put the desks and chairs on the outside ,- courtyards, squares ) and bring the food so anybody could join the breakfast who passed there. But the spontaneity is the what it counts. Not the principle of the force -- you have to accept from me what I have to give to you. Otherwise I am in fear what to do with this what I have and transform that feat into pressure, violence, world crisis. So that evil eye is manifestation that I can’t fignt my own war alone, take this virus from me…let us be more of us. Let us all change …and let us forget about your war. My war first, and we’ll se later about your war.
I would return now to the idea of three wrinkles -- how someone si easily used. He put his wars in the background and accept wars that he is contaminated with that inital look as product of the evil eye ( manifesation of the anger -- which is manifestation of the cry -- tears that are comming through- permeate -- penetrate through scared crest ) . There is illusion that …ok …let us make this war now …only this war and then everything will be ok…then we can focus on peace for the heart of the own battle….But this never happened…first accepted foreign war is producing another side effect, another scared crest, and the film is rounding again -- like spiral but not in the direction of Jacob’s ladder but as there is ladder also down…to reach the bottom where there is level of energy earned and senses are adapted for another blast of growth in the direction of Jacob’s ladder.

For me personally, I do not trust people who is unable to look at me in the eyes. Is as if they where hiding something. Sometimes is a cultural thing like with orthodox jews who cannot look into the eyes of a woman. Evil eye is when you envy a person or dislike a person and wish her something bad. Natives in my country protect their children from “evil eye” with a red string in the wrist or something red in their clothes, specially babies. But yes, I do believe that the eyes can transmit feelings, good or bad from one person to another. (Except from my dog that always transmit love and happiness
)

The Zohar refer to the three columns system that can be seen in people using ‘spiritual eyes’. Most people can ‘read’ different expressions from the eyes of another. A spiritual person that follow the truth can see the essence of a person in one quick look into their eyes.
White is right column, chessed, Red is gevurah and green is central column tiferet.
