Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -973
Hebrew translation:

Tikkun 70 – 78

Exodus 13:21
“וַיהוָה הֹלֵךְ לִפְנֵיהֶם יוֹמָם בְּעַמּוּד עָנָן, לַנְחֹתָם הַדֶּרֶךְ, וְלַיְלָה בְּעַמּוּד אֵשׁ, לְהָאִיר לָהֶם–לָלֶכֶת, יוֹמָם וָלָיְלָה”
“And YHVH went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; that they might go by day and by night”

The study of Torah and Zohar connect us to Zeir Anpin that is the aspect of day and ‘Pillar of Cloud’. Following the spiritual laws and the correction in Malchut is the aspect of night and ‘Pillar of Fire’,

The Zohar teaches us that the Torah/Zohar study is the aspect of Light and our actions are the aspect of the candle. When we study and follow the spiritual laws with our actions, we connect the light with the candle and merit the protection of God day and night. It is the same as the protection that the Israelites had in the wilderness on their way to the Promised Land. The Pillar of Cloud protected them during the day and Pillar of Fire, during the night.

Observing the Shabbat and dedicating it to Zohar study would connect a person all the way to the world of Atzilut to benefit his soul with cleansing and elevation.

The Zohar tells us that there are two levels of spiritual connections. One of Zeir Anpin and one of Malchut. The Kabbalist, Rabbi Daniel Frish, “Matok Midvash”, explains that the lower level of Malchut is for the people that seek their own wellness and fulfillment of their lacks. They are described in the verse in Leviticus 25:55
“ כִּי-לִי בְנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל, עֲבָדִים–עֲבָדַי הֵם, אֲשֶׁר-הוֹצֵאתִי אוֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם: אֲנִי, יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם”
“For unto Me the children of Israel are (slaves) servants; they are My servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am YHVH your God.”

The higher level of Zeir Anpin is related to those who connect and study to reveal light in the world. They are described in the verse from Deuteronomy 14:1
“בָּנִים אַתֶּם, לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם”
“You are the sons of YHVH your God”

When one makes connections and meditate for everyone else, he draws light for the world and at the same time benefits himself. He creates a bigger channel of light and not as a small vessel that depends on a small ‘ration’ from his master that may sustain him for a little while.

As sons, we inherit the powers of the father. As slaves/servants we may enjoy living in some distant parts of the palace and may enjoy some comfort but it never will be close to what a son would have and enjoy.

Studying the Zohar is considered a pleasure and for the first half of the day we restrict on that.
BUT you can study Zohar Eicha (Lamentation) and other Zohar sections that is related to the destruction of the Holy Temple.

    • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

If 9th of Av falls on Shabbat, we move it to Sunday. Shabbat is a state of elevation to Binah and Fasting on that day can create a damage in the flow of light to the world.

The Kabbalists that set the Hebrew Calendar created 19 types of calendar years to make the holidays falls properly with oour ability to maximize on the special events. For example the calendars make sure that Rosh Hashanah will no start on Sunday, Wednesday or Friday.

The question is why WE move the dates around to match our ‘convenience’?
The answer is simple. “Because we can.” We are the vessel and the light follow the vessel. Hard to get it? take a piece of paper and with the word “Zohar” any where you want on the page. Now write it again in a different place… Get it?
I know it is still hard to understand and I just put it here to build curiosity and expectation to a new video that I am working on to explain the power of the Zohar, light and bring better understanding to how the spiritual system works.

Please pray for me to complete it soon.
