Parashat Ha’man – פרשת המן

Today, Tuesday, just before the Shabbat of Beshalach we have a special prayer that has significant power as it original light is reveal this week. It is called Parashat Ha’man.

The ‘Parashat Ha’man’ is from the Torah portion of Beshalach that tells the story of the Manna that God brought down from above to feed the Israelites in the wilderness. It has spiritual qualities as it satisfied every person’s taste. They received the manna until they reached the borders of the promised land.
In the same portion we find the source of the 72 names and the splitting of the Read Sea. The 72 names provide for us spiritual bridges from Malchut, the world of action, to the upper levels where spiritual and material sustenance are bestowed on us.
The spelled name of YHVH that has the numerical value of 72 יוד-הי-ויו-הי relates to the world of emanationת Atzilut. It is a special and powerful Shabbat that we connect to the power that controls physicality.

Using this special reading that some read everyday after their morning prayers, makes a powerful connection for sustenance.

    Parashat Ha’man

    Walk Through
    B’H’
    TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
    (Psalm 23:4)
    TODAY’S WORD from Jeffrey
Have you ever gone through something and felt like it was the valley of the shadow of death? During the tough times, it’s easy to get discouraged. But I love what it says in today’s verse, “…though I walk through…”
No matter what you are facing today, know this: you are not alone, and you are just walking through. You don’t have to stop and live in the tough times! They are only temporary. I encourage you today; don’t allow fear to paralyze you in the middle of “the valley of the shadow of death.” Remember, G-D is with you. He is walking beside you. He is strengthening you. He is making a way of escape for you. He is lining up people and situations to bring you out of that tough place into a place of strength and victory.
Today, don’t give up! Press on and walk through! Start to get a vision of your life on the other side. See yourself more loving, more faithful, stronger and more blessed than ever before. As you keep moving forward and walking through, you will get to the other side and walk in the victory G-D has prepared for you!
    A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father I thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Thank You for walking with me even in the hard times. I trust that You are taking me through my circumstances to a place of victory and strength. Amen.

      Dear Yehoshua

Thank you for your wise words: Psalm 23 always causes tears in my eyes and I firmly feel the connection when I recite it.
I saw two major accidents today on the road, they were not connected. Both were very dramatic and I hope so much that both people will live and be healthy again. I wish I could do something to help, but at both scene there were already a lot of people present and I was in my car. I think this psalm is approapriate for me for today and the people in the accidents. G;’d bless Daliah

    Hi Zion,
Why are parts of the verses read twice—direct and returning light?
    Love,
    M

    • avatar Zion Nefesh says:

Thank you for the question Mordecai. The Holy Ari teaches us that reading the Portion before Shabbat in the form of repeating the Torah verse twice following with one time the Aramaic description build a solid vessel to receive the Light. It represent Right Left and Central.

  40. avatar Evalyn says:

Zion -- thank you so much for your diligent, consistent and excellent work. Blessings to yu and your family always. Shalom
