This Lag B’Omer, the Daily Zohar celebrates seven years of continuous Daily Zohar studies. I want to give thanks first to YHVH for guiding me into this work, making me a better student of Kabbalah, and teaching me to love unconditionally. I want to give thanks to Rabbi Shimon for the sacred Zohar and for Rabbi Ashlag for making it easier to understand it with his great translation and commentaries. I want to thank Rav Berg for teaching and encouraging me on the right path. I want to thank my wife and daughters for letting me ignore them at times when the DZ projects required my intensive attention. I want to thank those who make donations helping with the DZ progress. I have a full day job to provide for the family and their support is very important to keep everything running. They are spiritual partners of the Daily Zohar and its projects. Some have big share and some small but every contribution counts and earns merits to the giver.
The impact of the Daily Zohar in the world is far greater than we all can imagine and it’s all because of the many subscribers and visitors that connect to the DZ studies every day. I may have started a small candle but all the people that come to study generate the big light that shines in the world.
I strongly feel that the eighth year would be very significant for the Daily Zohar. The eighth is Binah and that is why I push more people to study Zohar, prayers and make every action a spiritual connection.
We are getting closer to the revelation of Mashiach. The signs for it are growing and it is felt strongly by people from all faiths. I myself had a dream telling me to expect Mashiach soon. I am not asking you to consider it as prophecy but we must definitely prepare ourselves to the cleansing process and the change that Mashiach will bring with him.

The sage Rabbi Eliezer told his students to repent one day before they die. They told him that no one knows their day of death so he told them that they’d better repent today. The result is that we should focus on our spiritual cleansing every day because if death finds us the next day we won’t be able finish our correction and may lose the merits for the world to come and immortality.
As students of the Torah and Zohar we need to focus on the words of God and not of a man. We all have great teachers but the words of the Torah and Zohar are above all.

For Lag B’Omer I want to give you this important and life saving teaching from the Torah and Bible.

The first commandment.

Exodus 20:2
“אָנֹכִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ, אֲשֶׁר הוֹצֵאתִיךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם מִבֵּית עֲבָדִים: לֹא-יִהְיֶה לְךָ אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים, עַל-פָּנָי”
“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me.”
“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them.”

The first two commandments leave nothing for interpretation.

Deuteronomy 13 (Moses’s Prophecy)
1: See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

The first verse has a clear message, telling us to stay on the path of the Torah and follow God’s commandments. It’s a complete system and we cannot have a personal easy to follow edition.

It’s not easy but this is the spiritual technology of the Torah. It’s our GPS and we should follow the instruction as dictated from above in the process of Creation. If we don’t follow the instruction of the GPS we are taken through a longer correction process and may lose our way. The main problem is that without the Torah we won’t be able to reach the desired destination on time.

2: If a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder,

3: and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,”

4: you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. YHVH your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Many people lack spiritual knowledge but their souls wish to connect to higher levels. They find ‘agents’ or ‘dreamers’ to follow. Many of these dreamers have a strong message and people buy into it. The internet helps them spread their message, quickly and widely. They give hopes to people making them believe that they hold the path to redemption. Leaders with personal message/agenda by nature have big egos and that’s where negativity crawls in.
They may start with a great righteous message but the ego and power of influence corrupt them. The news is full of corrupted politicians, celebrities, sex scandals and many others in power fall to the negative aspect of having big ego.

The purpose of this study is to make you take responsibility for your own spiritual path. It’s good to be part of a group but if the leader offers his own variation on how to follow the Torah then it is like using a broken GPS. You cannot trust it. The only leader is the Torah and the Zohar. Respect your rabbi and teacher but never submit your mind and soul to them because that will increase the power of their ego and corrupt them.

The Daily Zohar is a source for pure study of Torah and Zohar. The leaders of the Daily Zohar is the Torah and the Zohar.

5: It is YHVH your God you must follow, and Him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey Him; serve Him and hold fast to Him.

6: That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against YHVH your God, Who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way YHVH your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.

Proverbs 3:18
“עץ חיים היא למחזיקים בה ותומכיה מאושר:
“The Torah is Tree of Life is for those who cling to her, and her supporters are blessed”

Take responsibility for your soul because it’s immortal if you choose Torah and Zohar. The body is only temporary shell to carry the soul in following the Torah.
Rabbi Shimon disconnected himself from the world for 12 years to get to the spiritual level that he could control every aspect of life around him. He conquered death and left the world by his choice with 70 righteous souls escorting him to heaven.
