Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -1006

Tikkun 70 – 111

Rabbi Shimon was asked why a baby is born with an ability to see in his eyes and he answered that it is in the secret of Genesis 27:1

“ וַיְהִי כִּי-זָקֵן יִצְחָק, וַתִּכְהֶיןָ עֵינָיו מֵרְאֹת”
“And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim”

Isaac’s eyes lost the sight because of the light revealed when his father, Abraham, bound him for sacrifice. When the child is in his mother’s womb, he is still in direct connection with the upper spiritual worlds.

The soul is light and the body is matter. It takes 40 days for the seed to connect the soul to the body. After that, it goes through 231 gates until completion of the process after 271 days.

The numerical value of the word pregnancy הריון in Hebrew is 271 as the number of pregnancy days.
On the 40th or 41st day, the baby reveals its first electrical pulse that tells us the baby began his life. Numerical value of the word Mother אם is 41. This means that only after 41 days a pregnant woman can be called a mother.

231 is the number of two letter-unique combinations in the Hebrew Aleph-Bet. 22 times 22= 484 – 22 (to omit the duplicates like אא, בב etc.) then divide by 2 to get 231 because a pair like אב is the same as בא.

During the process of dressing the soul with a body from this world, the soul can see and connect to the secrets of the Torah and is told about his own Tikkun process and all that it needs to correct.

When the baby is ready to come out we see the aspect described in Genesis 1:9 ”
” And God said: ‘Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear.”

The protecting water (Torah light) outside the body is separated from the child and the body comes out dry to the world. All the light he enjoyed inside is gone and he forgets all that he learned during the growing process in the womb.

The process outside is continued and the main goal is to reconnect back to the light of the Torah that is the protecting water of life.
