Zohar Pinchas, Vol. 20 (English)/Vol 15 (Hebrew)
Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -1146

Pinchas 213-215
The Liver and its arteries connect to the impure side but the heart is the ‘anchor’ of holiness in the body. The kidneys are like Cherubs for the right and left and serve the heart that ties it all together as one.

The liver is the center of negativity in the body. It benefits from the sacrifices of the person because it gives it connection to the higher level of the left column. When the heart is ‘broken’ meaning that it removed its ego and connected to the light with confession and repentance, the Liver transforms itself to support the person so it won’t lose its unification with the left column.

Psalms 51:19
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise. ”

This verse teaches us that the highest and purest level of sacrifice is a broken vessel because God will not reject it.

Ecclesiastes 12:7
“And the dust returneth to the earth as it was, and the spirit returneth unto God who gave it ”

We are built from body and soul. The body is part of and has ‘borrowed’ its physical form from the materials of this world. The soul is part of God and it goes back when the body and soul are separated.
The Zohar teaches us to focus on the condition of our soul because it is the purpose of our existence. We should improve and correct the soul rather than focus on the material and the TEMPORARY state of life.

As I wrote in a previous study, some people build a successful path solely on the material level that ends with their death. They have a golden coffin (maybe) and expensive Italian marble for a tomb stone. These people get ‘locked’ out of the Final Redemption because their soul is not ready or capable for a great light. Having the gift of richness in this world is just a great opportunity to do greater positive things, like creating channels of sustenance for many people, more charity and more support to the channels of Light.
Poor people that have no desire to do more for their souls are similar as a selfish rich person. We must do our best to purify and expand the soul.
