The width and length of the Tzizit should be equal to twelve fingers in size. The links on the Tzizit are made in triples.

The left strap of the head Tefilin should reach the heart and the right one should reach the navel line.

The strap of the hand should reach the middle finger of the hand and make three wraps on it.

The Zohar is not a book of Halachot (detailed guide on how to do the precepts). The Zohar always points to the spiritual level and the related energy of the physical action. Every specific requirement has reasons with roots in the spiritual system. The use of all the tools is to give us bridges to make connection and draw the light from the upper levels.

The aspect of three is very important as it connects us to the three columns of the Tree of Life. The Tzizit includes the aspect of three and twelve in it and the Zohar relates it to the 12 garments used by the priests. The High Priest used four garments of Gold and four garments of white. With the four garments of a simple priest, we have twelve.

Each of them had special a purpose and the Tzizit connects us to them.

When the Holy Temple was active and transmitted light to the world, we didn’t have to use tools or special connections. Now that all of it is gone we need to connect with tools and actions. Each time we open the Zohar and study form it we connect to spiritual energy that the Zohar discusses. It doesn’t matter if we understand it or not, the Hebrew letters, words and subject do the works for us. With the commentary and explanation we increase our vessels and able to receive more.

Every day in our prayers, we include description of the process of sacrifices that were made in the Holy Temple. On Holidays we bring out a second Torah scroll to read about the sacrifices. The reason is that, this was and is a great tool for us to open the channels of light to the world.

In addition to the Torah reading on Shabbat, the Zohar is the most powerful tool that we have in our time because it connects us to all spiritual levels. Zohar reading/scanning on Shabbat is 10,000 times the value of scanning on regular days.
