Zohar Ha’azinu

Deuteronomy 34:5

“ וַיָּמָת שָׁם מֹשֶׁה עֶבֶד-יְהוָה, בְּאֶרֶץ מוֹאָב–עַל-פִּי יְהוָה.”
“So Moses the servant of YHVH died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of YHVH”

Deuteronomy 34:7
“ וּמֹשֶׁה, בֶּן-מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה–בְּמֹתוֹ; לֹא-כָהֲתָה עֵינוֹ, וְלֹא-נָס לֵחֹה.”
“Moses was 120 years old when he died. His eye was undimmed, and his vigor unabated.”

The first verse tells us that Moses died ‘according to the word of YHVH’. The next verse tells us that Moses was in good health. The Torah and the Zohar teach us that even though Moses was in perfect spiritual and physical state, he was still part of the great plan of Creation.

Moses wanted to enter the Land of Israel and bring the Final Redemption but God did not let him.

Rabbi Shimon was also in a similar state and left the world because God asked him to. Rabbi Shimon testified on himself that he could remove all judgments from the world but he was not allowed to.

Moses continued his work to bring the Final Redemption by teaching Rabbi Shimon the secrets of the spiritual system. Rabbi Shimon put all the secrets for us in the Zohar so we can all be part of the process.

Those who study the Zohar have no fear of death because they know like Moses and Rabbi Shimon that life in this world is about doing the spiritual work that is Light. Everything else is a dark ‘filler’ with temporary state of existence.
