Exodus 12:3
“דַּבְּרוּ, אֶל-כָּל-עֲדַת יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר, בֶּעָשֹׂר, לַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה: וְיִקְחוּ לָהֶם, אִישׁ שֶׂה לְבֵית-אָבֹת–שֶׂה לַבָּיִת”
“Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household.”

God instructed the Israelites that each household should take a lamb into their homes. They should keep it for four days and then slaughter it on the fourteenth of the month.
The Zohar connects the tenth day of Nisan, which is today (3/30/2015) to Yom Kippur that is ten days after Rosh Hashanah. These two holidays are exactly six months apart. On the tenth day of both holidays we experience the light of Binah.

The Ram was the god of the Egyptians. Taking the lamb into the home is the aspect of controlling the head of the year (Aries) and all the negative side. The Zohar tells us that with that action, the Israelites controlled the Keter level of the Klipot.
The Israelites needed to make the physical action below so God will do it above. They required to burn all parts of the lamb over fire. It had to be with fire and no other cooking method was allowed because God took method to remove the negative side on the spiritual level that was using the river of fire above.

On the fourteenth of Nisan the Israelites slaughtered and burnt the god of the Egyptians. On that night God killed the firstborn of the Egyptians, an act that represents the aspect of removing the life force and continuation of life from the negative side.

We celebrate Sukkot on the fourteenth days after Rosh Hashanah. On Sukkot we receive life energy for the entire year. On the fourteenth of Nisan we remove the negativity from our lives by removing the Chametz and on the next day, the Seder night, we receive a great and free gift of light to build a positive and strong vessel.

The following text was copied from the writings of Kabbalist Rabbi Shimshon of Ostropol. He was taught by an angel (Magid). In his writings, Rabbi Shimshon writes that those who read the following wonderful secrets even once a year and especially on the day before Pesach, are promised to be saved on that year from obstacles, unnatural death and no one could have control over him. That person will have success in everything he does until the coming of Mashiach, Amen. Not all of us are pure and have the merit to have everything but this is a great spiritual connection that will definitely can help any one of us on different levels.

The text is a study on the writings of the Holy Ari on Passover. The Ari describes the 10 plagues that God brought on Egypt. The study include names of angels that inflicted the judgments on the Egyptians and protected the Israelites.
