Zohar Shelach Lecha
Man was created in God’s image, meaning with the same spiritual structure so the aspect of the three worlds we studied previously is similar for us.
Rabbi Ashlag explains that the connection to the higher level goes through three ‘worlds’. We better call them spiritual realms, not to confuse with the four worlds.
We are in the first level/realm, which is the world of Asiyah. It is controlled by time, which force on us temporary state of existence and a movement in a forward direction of time. From this world we climb to the world of Formation and then Briah. After we achieve complete connection in the first realm, we can climb to the next realm, which is Malchut of Atzilut and from there we can connect to the third realm that is Zeir Anpin of Atzilut, which is the concealed level. Reaching this level gives us ability to see and understand the entire Tree of Life from top to bottom.
In the future the lower levels will go up and we will be able to connect easily to the concealed levels.
Isaiah 64:3
“For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.”
The Zohar quotes this verse and to points to the time that is worth waiting for, when we see wonders that we weren’t able to imagine.
