#68
The wine of the Torah as we explained previously is the inner meaning, the secrets of the Torah. We process the wine from the grapes and with the study process we reveal the secrets from the Torah.
Song of Songs 7:10
“וְחִכֵּךְ כְּיֵין הַטּוֹב הוֹלֵךְ לְדוֹדִי לְמֵישָׁרִים דּוֹבֵב שִׂפְתֵי יְשֵׁנִים”
“And your mouth like the best wine!” “It goes down smoothly for my beloved, flowing gently through the lips of those who are asleep.”
‘your mouth like the best wine’ is the ‘wine’ of the Torah that is ‘best’ where the ‘wine’ of the other-side is not good. The wine of the Torah is good for all in this world and in the world to come. Those who fill themselves with the wine of the Torah pleases the Holy One Blessed be He. He will merit the world to come and the Resurrection.
“those who are asleep” are the Tzadikim that are not considered as dead, only sleeping because they are waiting to wake-up at the time of the Resurrection. Their studies of Torah keep flowing through their lips.
