“ונותן עליה באצבעו מדם החטאת עליה, אחר כך לקרן מזרחית צפונית ונותן שם מתנה שניה, וכן צפונית מערבית, מערבית דרומית, ומשם ירד מן המזבח.”
“He took a finger from the blood of the sin on it, then to the north-east beam and gave it a second gift, as well as northwest, south-west, and from there he descended from the altar.”
From the East turn to the North, which is a connection to the mother, Binah that is the root for the Left column. This unification creates Da’at and from there all the lower ‘rivers’ of the ‘East’ are filled and nourished.
The judgments of the Left, Binah, are sweetened by Chokmah and the ‘North’ disappears in the ‘South’.

Then the priest turns to North-West. From Mother, which is North to the West that is the corner and aspect of Malchut. From that point, the West connects to the South and completes the connection. The priest can now come down from the altar.
