Zohar Mishpatim
Continuing the study of the Saba, the Elder from DZ 2659 and before.
#81
Proverbs 3:27
“אַל תִּמְנַע טוֹב מִבְּעָלָיו בִּהְיוֹת לְאֵל יָדְךָ לַעֲשׂוֹת”
“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due When it is in your power to do it.”
Wherever the words of Torah study are heard, the Holy One Blessed be He and the Shechina come to listen. Then the good side of the Tree of knowledge Good and Bad gets stronger and draw the ‘good’ to the world. The verse is referring to the Holy One Blessed be He and the Shechina as the owners of the ‘Good’. They won’t withhold good from those who study the sacred Torah.
The study that is the aspect of good connects to the good side of the Tree and draw good from above.
#82
The elder that presented this study had fears of revealing these secrets. He was afraid that if he reveals them, they will become small. Rabbi Chiya and Rabbi Yosei told him to sense the place and see that the Holy One Blessed be He and the Shechina were present during his teaching. They encouraged him to continue with his revelations, reminding him that he already fought strong men without fear. Now he should continue without fear.
Lesson;
The strong men the elder fought is the aspect of the challenges a person finds on his path of studying the Torah and its secrets. The studies are a process of climbing on a spiritual level. The other-side tries to pull our heals and stop us from climbing.  If we don’t experience ‘strong men’ fighting us then we are not climbing.
The good news is that the Light of the study is the tool that we need to fight the strong men and overcome them. Jacob fought until morning (=Light) and the angel of the other side begged Jacob to let go of him.  We keep the fight and move forward, we always win. Never give in and never give up.
