Zohar Mishpatim
Continued from previous DZ
#87
“he makes the clouds his chariot” (see #85 above). The ‘clouds’ are the angels Michael and Gabriel. “he rides on the wings of the wind” is the angel Raphael that brings health and healing to the world.
The elder was praised by those who study from him and they asked him to continue the teaching.
#88
Exodus 21:10
“אִם אַחֶרֶת יִקַּח לוֹ שְׁאֵרָהּ כְּסוּתָהּ וְעֹנָתָהּ לֹא יִגְרָע”
“If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights.”
The Elder explains that this is related to ancient incarnation process that was never revealed until that moment. These are true and the truth must be told without even a slightest deviation.
He continues to reveal that the souls of converts come from the Garden of Eden in an unknown way and incarnate in converts. When they leave this world, they go back to the Garden of Eden.
Lesson;
A convert that makes the efforts to transform himself earns great merits. When he breaks the Klipah that blocked him from seeing the righteous path of the Torah, he elevates himself to a level that draw the support of a soul from the Garden of Eden. This extra soul stays with him until he dies. Then the extra soul goes back to the garden of Eden and the original soul of the convert is judged by its own merits. Converts or those who are in the process of conversion should appreciate the gift they receive and stay on the path of Torah and righteousness.
A convert is one that converted his soul to the follow the path of Torah, not necessarily one that went through a process to get a certificate of conversion. When Mashiach comes, he will judge the souls by their purity, not by certificates or by the name of the rabbi that made the conversion.
There are many souls that were born into a Jewish family but have less merits than a convert. A Jew that adopts the path of Torah and righteousness is also have the aspect of ‘convert’ and his soul is supported and elevated to a greater level than before.
