Zohar Vayakhel
#72
Exodus 35:5
“’Take from among you a contribution to YHVH; whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it as YHVH’S contribution: gold, silver, and bronze,”
The Zohar explains that “whoever is of a willing heart” indicates that contributing to YHVH is a choice a person would make. Those who wish to draw the Shechina into their lives would make contributions to make elevations so the Shechina would come and dwell within him, as explained previously.
#73
When the Shechinah comes to be with a person, she comes with blessings and riches, as it says ‘gold, silver, and bronze.’ That person will have all the wealth he needs. Righteous people, their elevation would bring them greater ability to reveal light.
#74
Jonah 2:11
“Then YHVH commanded the fish to vomit Jonah upon dry land.”
Rabbi Aba explains that when the Holy One Blessed be He created the world, at the fifth day, when he created the fish, he commanded that there will be a fish that will swallow Jonah and keep him inside of him for three days and three nights. Then the fish will vomit Jonah out.
Lesson;
We were given the freedom to choose what to do with the force of life and the ‘gifts’ given to us by God. Following the Torah laws and guide, provides us with an elevation that is required during the process of drawing light into our lives. The continuous connection to the upper Shechina benefits us with a constant flow of light that manifest in our lives as we needed. The righteous people that focus on spiritual elevations give themselves to the unification of the upper and lower and the Shechina dwells with them, and they reveal greater secrets of the Torah.
