Zohar Pekudei
#42
The beauty of the world was not shown in the world until the Tabernacle erected and the Ark entered the sanctuary. The Shechina came to the middle point that is inside the Tabernacle that is called ‘The beauty and joy of the whole earth’ (Psalms 48:3). The Ark then opens and says;
Psalms 132:14
“This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.”
#43
Rabbi Yesa says that this verse was said by the Shechina in Malchut when the Holy Temple was built and the Ark was put in its place.
Rabbi Chizkiyah said that when Israel does his will, then the Holy One Blessed be He, sits on his throne and has mercy on the world, and peace, love, and blessings is available for all. Then he said, “This is My resting place forever.”
Lesson;
The middle point of the world is The Torah. It was placed in the Holy Temple and drew down the Shechina and the Holy One Blessed Be He. They bring all that is good for us if we correctly follow the Torah.
Each one of us is a small world, and our middle point is the soul and heart. When we study Torah with love, we create a unification that draws the Shechina into our lives, to benefit us with aspects of mercy, peace, love, and blessings.
