Zohar Pekudei
#46
1 Kings 6:7
“The house, while it was being built, was built of perfect stone prepared at the quarry, and there was neither hammer nor ax nor any iron tool heard in the house while it was being built.”
The building of the first Holy Temple was done by itself. The workers started a job, and the rest of it was revealed and completed in front of them. They had the tools but not use. When Bezalel thought about an element of the Tabernacle it was done without using tools. The work was holy for the Holy, and the connection to an instrument of Malchut would lower the level of the Holy Temple.

Exodus 38:22,23
“Now Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that YHVH had commanded Moses.”
“With him was Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver and a skillful workman and a weaver in blue and in purple and scarlet material, and fine linen.”
Bezalel did ALL that YHVH commanded Moses. Together with him was Oholiab. Bezalel was the aspect of the Right and Oholiab was the aspect of Left. Together they formed the balance necessary to channel the light for the building of the Tabernacle.
Lesson;
The Torah mentions Bezalel’s grandfather, Hur. ‘Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur.’ Hur was very righteous and the son of Miriam, Moses’s sister. He was killed by the Erev Rav when he wanted to stop them from going with their plans to create another god, the Golden Calf. Bezalel was from a pure line, and so was his soul. He was a channel for the Right of Chessed and was able to receive the blessings from God to build the Tabernacle.
To manifest actions in this world we need the Left that is an aspect of desire that creates and supports the vessel in drawing light. Oholiab joined Bezalel for this purpose.
