Zohar Metzora
#34
Ecclesiastes 7:14
“בְּיוֹם טוֹבָה הֱיֵה בְטוֹב וּבְיוֹם רָעָה רְאֵה גַּם אֶת זֶה לְעֻמַּת זֶה עָשָׂה הָאֱלֹהִים עַל דִּבְרַת שֶׁלֹּא יִמְצָא הָאָדָם אַחֲרָיו מְאוּמָה”
“In a good day be in good, But in the day of danger, see– God has made the one as well as the other So that man will not discover anything that will be after him.”
The Zohar teaches us that on a good day we connect to the good by becoming good. On a day of danger, we are told to ‘see.’ It means that when there are aspects of judgments in our environment we need to look in all directions and protect ourselves from getting hurt.
Proverbs 13:23
“רָב-אֹכֶל, נִיר רָאשִׁים; וְיֵשׁ נִסְפֶּה, בְּלֹא מִשְׁפָּט.”
“Much food is in the tillage of the poor, but there is that is swept away without justice.”
As explained in DZ 2999 (https://dailyzohar.com/daily-zohar-2999/), ‘Justice’ is the aspect of the center column. Those who swept away without justice are those who expose themselves to judgments.
When judgments spread in Malchut, Zeir Anpin that is center column gets disconnected and cannot bring light to Malchut. During these times and situations, we want to avoid the evil angels that spread to inflict judgments on people. The Justice process was done, and judgments were decreed on the place and or people. If the angel sees us, he already has the permission to hurt us and to be protected we need to keep away from areas of judgments or groups of people that brought judgments on themselves.
God created the spiritual system to have both good and bad. It’s our choice to choose the good and avoid the bad.
Lesson
We should follow the rule that anything that doesn’t look to us as obviously positive then it’s negative and draws judgments. We can become part of what we want to avoid just by looking. Our eyes connect us spiritually to what we see and make us active participants.
Watching TV nowadays is a danger zone that we want to avoid. Most new movies include evil related scenes and subconsciously corrupt our consciousness. Most news channels deliver fake news and serve the agenda of their masters, not the people. Most new popular music may have a nice beat, but the lyrics are empty or deliver negative messages.
The world is now under great judgment, and the angels of the negative side roam the earth. They hurt or take away those with negative actions registered on their faces.
All of our actions are spiritually ‘registered’ on our faces/foreheads. The angels of the other side inflict harm on those who have negative actions registered on their faces.
The light of sacred text that we carry on us, ‘hides’ our negativity and detract the other-side.
When visiting the cemetery, it’s good to cover our foreheads and look down to avoid meeting angels of the other-side that roam the cemetery.
King David knew when the angel of death would come to take his soul. He was studying Torah all day and night and the angel of death couldn’t come close to him. Only after a sophisticated plan of distraction that stopped King David from speaking sacred words, the angel could take his soul.
Rabbi Shimon reached a point that his whole being was pure Light and the angel of death couldn’t touch him. Only after ‘invitation’ from above and a special spiritual corridor made for him by 70 righteous souls from the Garden of Eden, he released his soul from the hold of the body and ascended to heavens.
Always keep this verse in your mind to keep yourself out of ‘troubles’.
Psalms 34:15 “סוּר מֵרָע, וַעֲשֵׂה-טוֹב; בַּקֵּשׁ שָׁלוֹם וְרָדְפֵהוּ.”
“Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.”
