Zohar Metzora
#35
When judgments in Malchut, many swords of judgments come out of the supernal red sword that is the root of the judgment side of Malchut. This sword is full of blood from all sides, which means judgments and decrees that awaken the other swords, ready to carry judgments.
If a person meets these swords, he cannot escape.
The following verse is from the Torah story about Sodom and Gomorrah. The angels came to save Abraham’s nephew, Lot, from the destruction that ‘שs about to come on the city.
Genesis 19:19
“הִנֵּה נָא מָצָא עַבְדְּךָ חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ וַתַּגְדֵּל חַסְדְּךָ אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ עִמָּדִי לְהַחֲיוֹת אֶת נַפְשִׁי וְאָנֹכִי לֹא אוּכַל לְהִמָּלֵט הָהָרָה פֶּן תִּדְבָּקַנִי הָרָעָה וָמַתִּי”
“Now behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have magnified your loving kindness, which you have shown me by saving my life; but I cannot escape to the mountains, for the disaster will overtake me and I will die;”
Lot knew that once the decree was made, he couldn’t escape to the mountains to save himself because judgments can reach him even there. Lot chose to run to another city that was outside the ‘judgment zone’, and save himself and family.

#36 in the next DZ study.
Lesson;
Because of his uncle, Abraham, Lot visited by angels that gave him opportunity to save himself by leaving behind all his links the the negative-side. In such situation the direction is forward toward the Light, no looking back. The eyes can make a strong connection to the event or object they look at. Lot’s wife couldn’t fully disconnect from her past and when she looked back she turned into a pillar of salt. Salt represents the highest level of the desire for the self.
Sodom and Gomorrah were located near the Dead Sea in Israel, which is the lowest place on earth. The Dead Sea has high salt level to a point that no marine life exist in its waters. This sea also is the end of the line from the sea of Galilee that ‘share’ its water with the Jordan river that flows all the way to the Dead Sea that absorbs all the water and has no aspect of sharing, which is death.
To escape ‘judgments’ we increase the connection to the light with the study of Torah and Zohar and increase sharing act with tithing and Tzedakah. The Tzadikim can help us a lot to break out of judgments. When we study them and their teachings, they get pleasure and elevation. We can then ask them to carry our prayers to God and ask on our behalf.
