Tikkun 47 – 8

On Friday night we receive the Shabbat energy from Binah and we recite the paragraph form the Torah that sums the Creation process. With that, we connect to the seventh day and to the first Shabbat with its blessings.

All the seven Sefirot are included in Shabbat and is the point in the spiritual cycle of the week that is aligned with the gate of Binah that is opened on Shabbat.

After preparing all that are necessary for building the Holy Temple, that is the aspect of Binah, King David gathered the people and gave thanks to God for giving them the opportunity to work for that purpose.
1 Chronicles 29:11
“לְךָ יְהוָה הַגְּדֻלָּה וְהַגְּבוּרָה וְהַתִּפְאֶרֶת, וְהַנֵּצַח וְהַהוֹד, כִּי-כֹל, בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ: לְךָ יְהוָה הַמַּמְלָכָה, וְהַמִּתְנַשֵּׂא לְכֹל לְרֹאשׁ”
“Thine, YHVH, is the greatness (Chessed) , and the power (Gevurah), and the glory (Tiferet), and the victory (Netzach), and the majesty (Hod); for all (Yessod) that is in the heaven and in the earth (Malchut) is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, YHVH , and Thou art exalted as head above all”

Everything we do on Shabbat affect the whole coming week. We receive the Shabbat on Friday Night, Listen to the Torah on Shabbat morning and afternoon, eat three meals and study Zohar.

Studying the Zohar on Shabbat for one hour has the value of a thousand hours of study during the weekdays.
