Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -872

Tikkun 69 – 112

Up until the sin of the Golden Calf, the Upper Shechinah (Binah) was always with the Israelites but because of that sin she was sent away as it said in Isaiah 50:1
“וּבְפִשְׁעֵיכֶם שֻׁלְּחָה אִמְּכֶם” “and for your transgressions was your mother put away”. She comes back only on Shabbat and Holidays.

Y – Chokmah – Male – Father
H – Binah – Female – Mother, upper Shechina
V -Zeir Anpin – Male – son – Torah
H – Malchut – Female – lower Shechina

To have complete connection to Father and Mother for continuous flow of light we need to connect to the Torah that channels the upper light to the world.
The sin of the Golden Calf disconnected the people (Malchut) from the Torah (Zeir Anpin) and upper and lower Shechina became separated.
Lamentation 1:1 “ אֵיכָה יָשְׁבָה בָדָד ” “How doth the city sit solitary”
(See also Daily Zohar 848)

When we study the Torah through the Zohar we get a direct connection to the upper Shechina. This is the process called “Teshuvah”, its simple translation is “repentance” but the Hebrew word for it “תשוב ה” reveals the result, the process and the remedy.
בושת ה= Shame of the disconnection
שבת ו ה= Shabbat connects Vav and Heh
תשוב ה= Returning the Heh to its place

The sin of Adam and the sin of the Golden Calf were the ones that disconnected us from the Tree of Life and as I mentioned in “Why 2012?” (https://dailyzohar.com/?p=6633) article both are caused by the Snake and we should be watching out from falling again into his forked tongue which he may use to utter nice words while injecting his poison of death.
