His rulings were reprinted after his death (5754) in his book Questions and Answers "Arech La Tzadik". Rabbi Rodriguez was the rabbi of Rabbi Malachi HaCohen who even wrote a number of answers in his book. He also received a halakhic answer from Rabbi Binyamin Halevi of Izmir. Many scholars try to trace the history of his life, which remains a mystery. May the merit of the tzadik Rabbi Avraham Chaim ben Moshe Rodriguez protect us all. Amen

 text הרב אברהם חיים בן משה רודריגס היה רב, פוסק ומקובל איטלקי. נולד בערך בשנת ה'תנ"א (1691) ונפטר בה' ניסן תצ"ה (17 מרץ 1735). היה רב העיר ליוורנו שבאיטליה. פסקיו הודפסו לאחר מותו (ה'תק"ם) בספרו שאלות ותשובות "ארח לצדיק". והוא מצוטט רבות בספרי התשובות והפוסקים. הרב רודריגס היה רבו של רבי מלאכי הכהן שאף כתב מספר תשובות בספרו. כמו כן קיבל תשובה הלכתית מרבי בנימין הלוי מאיזמיר. חוקרים רבים מנסים להתחקות אחר תולדות חייו דבר שנותר ככל הנראה בגדר תעלומה. זכותו תגן עלינו ועל כל ישראל, אמן
