Rabbi Yona Navon (1713 - February 1760, February 1760) was a rabbi and a wise disciple of Jerusalem in the 18th century, whom Shadar. and author of the book "Nefah Bachsaf," the rabbi of the HIDA.

Born in Jerusalem to Rabbi Hnun Navon who died when he was nine. In his youth, he studied at the Beit Yaakov Yeshiva with Rabbi Israel Meir Mizrahi, the author of the book Sho'at Peri Haaretz . He was one of the sages of the "Yafar Anumim" yeshiva. He was also the head of the "Great Mordechai" yeshiva . Rabbi Chaim Ben Atar established the Knesset Yisrael Yeshiva and he began teaching there. From the the year 5506, he headed the yeshiva.
At the time, he was sent to Turkey and Greece, and two years later he returned to Jerusalem. In Turkey, his book was also printed his book Nehepa Bekesef part I (1918).
Rabbi Yona Navon was the distinguished rabbi of two of the great generations: Rabbi Chaim Yosef David Azulay (HIDA) and Rabbi Yom Tov Algazi. from an early age youth he taught them to write Halachic answers and would review and comment.
After he returned he became daian in the court of Rishon Lezion's , Rabbi Yitzchak HaCohen Rapaport signed a number of regulations in Jerusalem, such as on the modesty of women's clothing, the ban on playing cards (TKD), and more. The Hida student writes about him: In our scrolls, and was a follower and accepted. "
His father was Rabbi Hannon. He was a brother-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak Zarchia Azulay (the father of the HIDA). His grandson was the first to mark Rabbi Yona Moshe Navon.

He died on the 16th of the Biblical tribe (16 of Shevat) at the age of forty-seven and was buried in Jerusalem.
