    • info<p>A student of the Baal Shem Tov.</p> <p>Rabbi David of Kolomai once lost his way during a trip on behalf of "Chanuka Gelt" for ransoming Jewish captives. He wandered into the home of the  <strong><a href="showz.php?p=baalshemtov.htm">Baal Shem Tov</a></strong> before his revelation and was welcomed by his wife. Accustomed to receiving guests from the village, she prepared a table for him and offered him a room in which to rest.</p> <p>The Baal Shem Tov meanwhile returned and joyfully served R' David a meal prepared by his wife. He made his bed and prepared water for him to wash his hands.</p> <p>Lying asleep on his bed that night., R' David suddenly awoke to notice a fire blazing from beneath the stove. Afraid that the blaze would spread he cried aloud , "Fire !" He seized the pitcher of water and ran to pour its contents on the stove. But when he reached the blaze he saw an unbelievable sight. The Baal Shem Tov was seated next to the stove saying <em>tikun chatzot</em> (a prayer recited after midnight) and a bright light shone about him. R' David fainted and lay almost lifeless on the floor until the Baal Shem Tov revived him.</p> <p>Awakening, R' David turned to the Baal Shem Tov for an explanation of the strange sight he had seen. "I was only saying some psalms of Tehillim but it is possible that my attachment to God created the blazing light which you saw."</p> <p>That very night the Baal Shem Tov removed his mask and revealed his true identity to Rabbi David. The latter swore his allegiance and eventually developed into one of the foremost of his disciples and disseminators of his Torah. </p> <p>May the merit of the tzaddik  Rabbi David of Kolomai  protect us all, Amen.</p>

      • text<p>Rabí David de Kolomai se perdió en un viaje para celebrar el “Jánuca Gelt” al rescatar a judíos cautivos. Llegó sin querer al hogar del Baal Shem Tov antes de que aparezca y fue recibido por su esposa. Acostrumbrada a recibir huéspedes de la ciudad, preparó la mesa y una habitación para él. </p> <p>Mientras tanto el Baal Shem Tov volvió a casa y con mucha alegría sirvió a R´David la cena preparada por su esposa. Arregló la habitación para el huésped y preparó una bandeja de agua para que lave sus manos. </p> <p>Mientras dormía esa noche, R´David se despertó al percibir una llamarada de fuego que provenía de debajo de la estufa. Preocupado de que el fuego se propague por toda la casa, gritó a viva voz: “Fuego!” Agarró un tarro con agua y corrió para aventar sobre las llamas; pero cuando alcanzó a la llamarada tuvo una visión increíble. El Baal Shem Tov estaba sentado junto a la estufa rezando el tikun jatzot (una oración rezada luego de media noche) y una luz resplandeciente alrededor de él. R´David se desmayó y cayó casi muerto al suelo hasta que el Baal Shem Tov lo revivió. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Al despertarse, R´ David le pidió al Baal Shem Tov una explicación de la extraña visión que tuvo ante lo cual le respondió: “Yo solo estaba leyendo algunos salmos de Tehilim pero es muy probable que mi acercamiento a Dios haya creado la llamarada que tu viste”. </p> <p>En esa misma noche el Baal Shem Tov reveló su identidad al Rabí David, jurando este último lealtad condicional a su maestro, convirtiéndose en uno de sus mayores discípulos y difusores de la Torá. </p> <p>. </p> <p>That very night the Baal Shem Tov removed his mask and revealed his true identity to Rabí David.       • text<p>Ученик Бааль Шем Това</p> <p>Рабби Давид из Коломыи однажды заблудился во время своего пути за «Ханука Гельд» для выкупа еврейских пленных Он зашел в дом Бааль Шем Това перед его раскрытием и был принят его женой Привыкшая принимать гостей из их деревни, она накрыла на стол и предложила ему комнату для отдыха</p> <p>Бааль Шем Тов в это время вернулся и в радостью подал приготовленную еду р Давиду Он постелил ему постель и приготовил воду, чтобы тот помыл руки</p> <p>Рабби Давид лег спать на эту кровать, но внезапно проснулся ночью, заметив пламя у печи Испуганный, что пламя может распространиться, он закричал: «Пожар!» Схватил черпак для воды и побежал наполнить его Но когда он подбежал к пламени,то увидел нечто невообразимое Бааль Шем Тов сидел у печи, произнося тикун хацот (молитву для чтения после полуночи), и яркий свет сиял вокруг него Рабби Давид упал в обморок и лежал бездыханный, пока Бааль Шем Тов не вернул его к жизни</p> <p>Придя в себя, рДавид обратился к Балль Шем Тову за объяснением этого странного видения, которое посетилоего «Я просто читал некоторые псалмы из Техилим, но возможно моя связь с Всевышним породила свет, который ты видел»</p> <p>В эту самую ночь Бааль Шем Тов снял свою маску и открыл свое истинное лицо рабби Давиду РДавид же в свою очередь поклялся в верности и стал одним из его самых преданных учеников и распространителем Торы</p> <p>Пусть добродетель праведника рабби Давида из Коломыи защитит нам, Амен</p> <p> </p>
