In the approbations to works given by the members of the Council of Four Lands at the Gramnitza (candlestick) fair on 6 April 1664, Moses signed first. He was the author of novellæ on the Talmud, published with the Ḥiddushe Halakot, last recension (Mahdura Batra), of R. Samuel Edels (Lublin, 1670). He died in Lublin on 25 November 1668.  text<h2 style="text-align: right;">ביוגרפיה</h2> נולד ללאה - בת ר' בונם מיזלש חתן הרמ"א, ועקב חשיבות משפחתם נקרא על שם אביה, רבי יצחק בונים מפינסק, דודו של הש"ך, ומצאצאי רבי ישראל איסרלן מחבר תרומת הדשן הוא נישא לבתו של המהרש"א. אחותו נישאה למדפיס מנחם נחום מייזלש (מייזלס) מקרקוב. כיהן כרב בלובומל ומשנת תט"ז (1656) ועד לפטירתו שימש כרבה של לובלין, בהחליפו את הרב יהושע השל. ספרו המכונה "מהדורה בתרא" על חידושי חותנו המהרש"א וחידושיו שלו, יצא לאור בשנת ה'ת"ל ובתבניתו הייחודית השפיע רבות על לימודי התלמוד. רבי משה נפטר בשנת ה'תל"ב או ה'תכ"ט (יש המציינים את תאריך ח' בכסליו שנת ה'תכ"ט) ונקבר בלובלין. <h2 style="text-align: right;">ספרו</h2> הספר 'מהדורא בתרא': רבי משה ערך והגיה וכן הוציא לאור חלק מפירושי חותנו המהרש"א על התלמוד, אשר לא הודפסו בספר חידושי הלכות של המהרש"א וחבורתו, שיצא לאור עוד בחיי המהרש"א, כ-60 שנה קודם לכן. הספר הודפס בשם "חידושי הלכות מהדורי בתרא למהרש"א" וכונה בקיצור "מהדורא בתרא" ספרו של רבי משה, כולל חידושי הלכה מהמהרש"א שלא הודפסו קודם עם הערות של רבי משה, מסומנים ביד מצביעה, וכן חידושי אגדות של רבי משה (שאינם כלל משל המהרש"א). הפירוש ההלכתי "חידושי הלכות" והפירוש התלמודי "חידושי אגדות" ערוכים לבקשת המהרש"א זה לצד זה לעיתים, דבריו והערותיו הם עיקרו של הכתוב, ובחלק מהמסכתות הן למעשה חידושיו של רבי משה ולא של המהרש"א. הספר הודפס בלובלין בשנת ה'ת"ל. הספר צורף גם מאוחר יותר בדפוס וילנא בסופי הכרכים, עם שגיאות העתקה מרובות, ובלי הפרדה בין דבריו של רבי משה לדברי המהרש"א. ספר זה הפך להיות אחד המקורות המרכזיים בלימוד התלמוד בישיבות. <h2 style="text-align: right;">ייחוסו ומשפחתו</h2> מכיוון שאביו היה ממשפחתו של מחבר תרומת הדשן הרב ישראל איסרלן, וממשפחת הרמ"א, ומכיוון שהיה דוד של אשת הש"ך, וחתן המהרש"א שושלות רבניות ובעקבותיהן משפחות מיוחסות רבות, ראו ב'רב מלומבלא' עוגן לתולדות המשפחה וקשריה עם משפחות חשובות אלו. ביניהן משפחות רוקח, מרגליות, מייזלס ומייזל, אידלס, וכן שושלות אדמורים חסידיים וביניהם נדבורנא ובלז. אחד מצאצאיו היה בין חשובי עליית החסידים עם הרב מנחם מנדל מוויטבסק וחלק מאגרותיו מהתקופה נשתמרו. זכותו תגן עלינו ועל כל ישראל, אמן
