Psalms 24:3,4,5
“מִי יַעֲלֶה בְהַר יְהוָה וּמִי יָקוּם בִּמְקוֹם קָדְשׁוֹ.”
“נְקִי כַפַּיִם וּבַר לֵבָב אֲשֶׁר לֹא נָשָׂא לַשָּׁוְא נַפְשִׁי וְלֹא נִשְׁבַּע לְמִרְמָה.”
“יִשָּׂא בְרָכָה מֵאֵת יְהוָה וּצְדָקָה מֵאֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעוֹ.”
“Who may ascend into the mountain of YHVH? And who may stand in His holy place?”
“He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully.”
“He shall receive a blessing from YHVH And righteousness from the God of his salvation.”

The first verse is the question and the second is the answer.
‘He who has clean hands’, is a person that didn’t allow his hands to touch and act in impurity and contaminated his body.
‘a pure heart’, is a person that didn’t let his desires follow other-side and followed only the Holy One Blessed be He.

‘Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood’, is a person that didn’t let his soul connected to false idols and when he leaves the world his actions are counted as positive.
The rewards are promised in verse 5 above; ‘He shall receive a blessing from YHVH And righteousness from the God of his salvation’

Lesson;
The quotes Psalms are from the ‘Song of the day’ that we recite in the morning prayer of Sunday. On the first day of the week, we remind ourselves to act with a pure heart and pure actions in order to climb the holy mountain where we can receive great blessings.
