Zohar Balak

#203
After a person made his prayers as a servant with the proper consciousness as described above (#202), the Holy One Blessed be He welcome him, put his right hand on him, and say (Isaiah 49:3) “וַיֹּאמֶר לִי עַבְדִּי אָתָּה יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר בְּךָ אֶתְפָּאָר.” ““And He said to me, ‘You are My servant, O Israel, In whom I will be glorified.’”.
The prayers of such a person will always be heard and accepted.

#204
Rabbi Elazar explains that the third ‘servant’ put the seal on the prayer and received the Right Hand of the King. The first two servants, which are the one before the prayer, and the one after the Amida are inclusive of all three.
King David glorified himself with his ‘servants’, saying twice ‘I am your servant’; (Psalms 116:16) “אָנָּה יְהוָה כִּי אֲנִי עַבְדֶּךָ אֲ‍נִי עַבְדְּךָ בֶּן אֲמָתֶךָ פִּתַּחְתָּ לְמוֹסֵרָי.” “O YHVH, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have lost my bonds.”
The third ‘servant’ is the one that connects to personal redemption.
“Preserve my life, for I am Chassid (pious); You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!”
Those who follow the prayers properly should know that the Holy One Blessed be He is glorified by them and call them “My servant, In whom I will be glorified”.
Rabbi Aba came and kissed Rabbi Elazar.

Lesson;
In DZ 3327 we had a ‘kissing lesson’. I suggest reading it again.
We learned that kissing is a spiritual connection, positive or negative. Every touch of a human or touch of an object is considered a ‘kiss’ and we should be careful with every ‘kiss’ we make.

The evil side spread the Coronavirus ‘plague’ on the entire world and separated us from each other, calling it ‘social distancing’. The ‘social’ became distant. Even kissing the Torah in the synagogue on Shabbat is restricted to avoid the possible transfer of the virus. The evil-side pushes fear, forcing us to cover our faces. We look like dogs with muzzles. It reminds us of the words of the sages about the generation that Mashiach comes from; “…And the face of the generation will be like the face of a dog”.
We are limited in our movements, speech, and even in practicing our religion.
This is a terrible situation but at the same time, it is a good sign for the coming of Mashiach. It means that we are close to the final removal of negativity from the world. Mashiach will set us free.

Talmud, Sanhedrin,92a https://www.sefaria.org/Sanhedrin.97a.4?lang=bi

Rabbi Yehuda says: During the generation that the son of David comes, the hall of the assembly of the Sages will be designated for prostitution, and the Galilee will be destroyed, and the Gavlan, i.e., Bashan, will be desolate, and the residents of the border who flee the neighboring gentiles will circulate from city to city and will receive no sympathy. The wisdom of scholars will diminish, and sin-fearing people will be despised. And the face of the generation will be like the face of a dog in its impudence and shamelessness.

We can study a lot from the words of the sages and B”H we see Mashiach in our time.
We should not go into predictions because God has his plans and no one can change them. Nevertheless, we can get closer to our books and studies online and kiss them frequently with the pure desire to be on the ‘right side of God’.
