Rosh Hashanah – When you go to court, bring your best advocate
Leviticus 23:24
“Speak unto the children of Israel, saying: In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest unto you, a memorial proclaimed with the blast of horns, a holy convocation”
This is where God tells Moses to instruct the Israelites to be ready for Rosh Hashanah.
On Rosh Hashanah Adam and Eve were created and on that day they sinned. That event brought judgment that is visited every year. Rosh Hashanah consists of two days of judgment but the Zohar tells us that it is considered as one long day. The first day is the evaluation of the state of our soul for the most significant impurities and the second day is for the lesser ones.
From the Zohar, portion of Bo
“On that day, two sides exist: Life and Death. There are those written to life, and those written to death. And sometimes the world is between life and death. If a righteous one leads them then he makes everybody written for life. But if an evil person leads them then they all will be written to death.”
The life aspect means progress and success during the coming year. Death is the aspect of chaos, limitation and things that don’t go well for us or to our benefits.
Coming closer to a righteous person on Rosh Hashanah helps a person be written to the side of life. For many reasons, not everyone is able to do so. They may not know such a righteous person or they may live far from spiritual communities that can support them. Many souls form the Children of Israel are scattered all over the world and even far from the Zohar or connection book. This Zohar compilation is made also for them.
The Torah instructed us to use the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah and every blast is very important. It breaks the Klipot around us that show our impurities. When our soul stands in front of the judge looking at its best, we are judged to life and have positive outcome.
The purpose of this special Zohar for Rosh Hashanah is to connect us to the righteous of all righteous, Rabbi Shimon. He came to the world to open spiritual channels for us to keep the supernal light flow to this world. The Zohar discusses all spiritual events described in the Torah to give us the higher connection that we can not get otherwise.
When you scan this special Zohar that is all about Rosh Hashanah, it is like having Rabbi Shimon and his merits next to you standing in front of the judge. Even if you are with a righteous person on Rosh Hashanah and/or with other spiritual people, make a special effort to bring Rabbi Shimon with you to the others and bring them with you to the side of LIFE.
