Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -5119

Zohar Vayikra

#248
We have learned: From the side of Ima (Binah) come forth klipot — seeking judgments, laws, and statutes — and they grasp onto the side of Gevurah, that is, onto the left line which is din (judgment), and they rule over the rachamim (mercy). As it is said: “הַנּוֹעָדִים עַל יְהוָה” “who take counsel together against YHVH” (Psalms 2:2) — against YHVH literally. That is, against Binah, who is above Zeir Anpin, who is called YHVH. And then the worlds are found lacking; they are not complete, and dispute awakens in all of them.
Notes:
Harsh klipot (impure forces) emerge from the side of Ima/Binah and attach themselves to the left line of Gevurah (din/judgment). These forces overpower mercy and create division and deficiency throughout the worlds. The verse “who take counsel together against YHVH” is interpreted as these klipot conspiring against Binah (the supernal Mother), who stands above Zeir Anpin (called YHVH). When this occurs, the sefirot structure becomes unbalanced, the worlds lack completeness, and conflict arises on every level. This passage explains how the dominance of unrectified judgment (on the left) leads to cosmic disharmony and why the tzaddik’s prayer and merit are crucial for restoring balance and protecting creation.
#249
And when the children of the world improve their deeds below, the dinim (judgments) are sweetened and pass away, and rachamim (mercy) is aroused and rules over that evil which was awakened from the harsh din. And when Rachamim is aroused, joy and consolation are found, because they rule over that evil. This is what is written: “וַיִּנָּחֶם יְהוָה עַל הָרָעָה” “And YHVH relented concerning the evil” (Exodus 32:14). “וַיִּנָּחֶם” — because the harsh din is subdued, and rachamim rules.
Notes:
There is a direct connection between human behavior and the balance of divine forces. When people rectify their actions, the harsh dinim (judgments) are sweetened and withdrawn, allowing rachamim (mercy) to awaken and prevail over the evil that had been aroused by severe judgment. This shift brings joy and consolation to the worlds, as mercy now governs. The verse “וַיִּנָּחֶם יְהוָה עַל הָרָעָה” (“And YHVH relented concerning the evil”) is understood as the subduing of harsh din and the triumph of mercy. The teaching underscores that human improvement below has the power to sweeten supernal judgments and restore harmony and blessing.
