Zohar Shelach Lecha
Continued from previous DZ
When a person connects to the three realms that we learned in previous study, his ‘image’ צלם is on a higher level and he’s considered a righteous, a Tzadik, a son of YHVH. He inherits all his spiritual connections in the supernal worlds.
Deuteronomy 14:1
“בָּנִים אַתֶּם, לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם: לֹא תִתְגֹּדְדוּ, וְלֹא-תָשִׂימוּ קָרְחָה בֵּין עֵינֵיכֶם–לָמֵת”
“You are the sons of YHVH your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave your forehead for the sake of the dead”
The Torah forbids putting any flaw on the body of the dead because the dead and especially a Tzadik preserves his spiritual body in the upper world. He receives a new vessel of light that is similar to his body on earth.
When a soul passes away from the material world to the spiritual, the body is left behind. This is the aspect of death. The soul goes through a cleansing and purification process before it moves to its resting place, awaiting the Resurrection.
Those who earned the merits can ascend higher in the spiritual levels and get closer to those they study from.
The efforts in making correct and pure spiritual connections, help us achieve greater spiritual levels.
