Rabbi Chiya rose one night to engage in Torah study; with him was the young Rabbi Yosi, who was still a child. Rabbi Chiya began and said,
Ecclesiastes 9:7
“לֵךְ אֱכֹל בְּשִׂמְחָה לַחְמֶךָ וּשֲׁתֵה בְלֶב טוֹב יֵינֶךָ כִּי כְבָר רָצָה הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת מַעֲשֶׂיךָ.”
“Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart, For God has already accepted your works.”
He asked, “What did Solomon see that led him to say this verse?”

Rabbi Chiya responds, “Indeed, all Solomon’s words were filled with wisdom. And when he said, ‘Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart,’ it means that when a person follows the ways of the Holy One, Blessed be He, Hashem draws him close and bestows upon him peace and rest. Then, the bread and wine he eats and drinks are consumed with a joyful heart because the Holy One, Blessed be He, is pleased with his deeds.

The child then said to Rabbi Chiya, “If so, you have said that all of Solomon’s words were filled with wisdom. Where is the wisdom in this verse?” Rabbi Chiya replied, “My son, cook well in your pot, meaning you should look carefully and study this verse.” The child responded, “Before I have even started to cook, I already know.” Rabbi Chiya asked, “How do you know?”
